Boy, is this confusing.

no the acura tsx is not a honda(atleast not a honda model sold here.) I found the acura to be more expensive, better equipped and with more style. honda looks more common against the acura.

It's the Euro Accord rebadged as the Acura. That model is only sold in Japan and UK as the Accord.

That now 30-something demographic—a majority married, more than half males, pulling in about $80,000 a year, according to Acura—is whom the brand is missing with the just-out-of-college RSX and the wife-and-kids TL. So enter the gap-filling TSX, a $26,990 rebadged European-market Honda Accord equipped with either the six-speed manual tested here or a five-speed automatic with a manual-control feature. - CarAndDriver.Com

Exactly. Probably the only Acura that doesn't have a Honda counterpart is the TL.

And the Accord that you get in Canada is called the Honda Inspire in Japan.

Is the 3l V6 an electronic upgrade of the Indian one? Because in India it pumps out 220+bhp, and abroad for the Honda Accord, 240+bhp. So extracting 256 bhp shouldn't be a tall order,

@aveek & shan2nu, same one! it's the motegi race.

Saw the Red NSX (number 9099 or something similar) on a recent late night out.

He was FLOORING it, I can guarantee he was not shifting below its redline. I was in my Jeep with the music out really loud, but could hear him from a mile away. Trust me when I say this, but it was heaven on earth to hear a sports car being driven the way it is meant to be - The sound was to die for.

Car - other countries vs india
Skoda RS - 180 vs 150
Corolla - 145 vs 125
City Vtec - 115 vs 106
CR-V - 160 vs 152

And the list goes or.............

I know the de-rating of engines due to fuel quality is the norm. My point is, is that the same engine? That would mean 300bhp from an Accord V6 would be doable.

Yup, it's the same engine. 300bhp is pretty much doable.

You may have misread the number OR its another car. It seems you are not sure of the registration number, so I assume that you MAY have misread it, because the registration number of the car in the earlier pictures is 7707.

Any idea what the Madans' Mugen Accord is putting out? It was at the Speed Run, but I think only as their back-up/crew car.

That would depend on how much he's spent on it. I guess Mugen have various performance packages.
