Is it just me or do others also feel that most of these cars haven't depreciated as much as they should've have.

Our regular cars depreciate easily by about 50% every three years - inspite of there being more buyers for those cars. These cars have a very limited demand and still the prices expected for them are way too high (even some of them are 2x of what they should actually be selling for)

I believe this is the same car that participated in Gumball 3000. Was on sale for not much more than its current asking price when the last time it was on sale AFAIK.

And if that's true, it doesn't sound like a good deal (to me). As u/samyakmodi said, it seems most of these cars haven't depreciated by that much.

I wonder when (and if) the used exotic market in India will see more price discovery and break away from the largely broker-controlled nature it's in right now!

The Broker Controlled nature would exist for a long time but this does not mean that the cars have not depreciated. It is just a case of People trying to make a quick buck and dealers hyping up prices to make some money and not let the inventory that they have hoarded to have a fall in the assumed "market" price

Case in point: The White Z4 posted a couple of posts above, I bought a 2012 Z4 of Similar Mileage for about 60% of the price quoted for the white one, just 2 months ago. More often than not, these cars go unsold for a long time until commonsense prevails and they let them go for the most "sensible" offer quoted.

Of course, cars that have Goodies installed on them would always command a premium and Specific Models that have a good standing among Enthusiast circles would always be at a premium. Most cars however just are unsold unless the owners see some sense, Which they always do, which always happens when the enthusiast is long gone.

The owner's Instagram username was @gareebthepoor so the stickers are probably a reference to that. He's changed it now though...
