Slightly off the topic here but 'Did you all know' that they have another massive prized collection of which maybe nobody in the world has!!, that of the best of the best breeds of Dogs and Horses! Yes you read it right, It seems that Anant Ambani loves the 4 legged animals and has the most enviable collection of the best Horses and Dogs from around the world parked away in their Jamnagar facility. 600 dogs and 400 plus horses. The security is so so tight that it's practically impossible to get a pic of one these beauties, but am sure they get possibly the best treatment and care. �� and that's what matters.

I wonder how many of these marquee brands owe their presence in the garage to the efforts of their respective sales teams rather than just the desire of certain members of the family.

I can just imagine sales teams strategising for the business of super high net worth individuals, devising attractive price-offs, exchange offers, maintenance contracts and buy-back schemes for planned obsolescence.

I know, it takes the mystique and allure out of seeing a bevy of beauties for automotive aficionados like us, but at the end of the day, it is a hard-nosed business family, and things like these might just be a matter of everyday business for them.

Interesting collection !

But what always made my head spin is their plane fleet.

If I recall correctly they're the only group in the nation with more than one Dassault Falcon 900 and more than two Bombardier Global Expresses.

All these are nice, but I've always wondered what the upkeep of their private jet fleet cost annually.

It is one of the most remarkable worldwide.

Amazing thread. Wonder what would be the annual cost for the upkeep and maintenance of all these vehicles.
Believe Ambanis would have a small company with proper CxOs just to take care of all their personal assets when aam aadmi is worried about a maid or two. Just a perspective..
Hope the Ambanis experience the best of service from all the car companies/dealers as its a prestige for them to have one of their products in the garage.

Their house is managed by the Oberoi group, Mr Ambani being their white knight, this is also a personal relationship. Also, whatever we may think of buying, they might have a world class collection of it already.
Also some people are calling this a class less collection or just the priciest car collection. My take is that a few brands have created this classy and massy distinction, to drive up prices of their products. Just own what you want man, there is enough for everyone to go around.

People should be happy Ambani lets his kids spend this much. Like I said, imagine the number of livelihoods made by;

A) after-sales from Benz
B) after-sales from Bombardier
C) Security
D) Pilots
E) Fuel costs (assuming it doesn't come from his own refinery)
F) insurance
G) toll fees if taken on such roads


Money needs to circulate in the economy and a splurging Ambani is good for everyone .
