A hectic schedule, college exams, training programmes and an irritatingly slow computer has been keeping me away from t-bhp for some time now. But i have been on a import import spotting spree unlike ever before!!!!

Apart from the pictures that i am uploading the cars that i have spotted are
1. Audi R8 (twice at maidan infront of the icai regional office)
2. Silver Boxster (same place)
3. X6 (a white one and another red one. The red one was spotted within minutes of spotting the boxster)
4. the regular dosages of X5s, Q5 etc.

Of all the pics i could get, the jaguar was definitely the best. If you ask me they were the most beautiful cars I have ever seen (after the R8 ofcourse) with my own eyes. Hardly anything comes close!

I'm sure of another white one, the Asansol(?) regd one. It had that weird leaping cat on the hood.

Btw, the 500 looks sweet.
OT: A friend had gone to Lexus Motors to take delivery of their car and the sales rep told her that the 500 is a sports car. How exactly?

Hi,has anyone noticed this?

In tbhpian Tushar lalsan brand new Z4 ownership thread he mentions an Audi R8 V10 being delivered to kolkata.

Here is the thread:
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-d...er-bmw-z4.html

Check the first post

Quote:
Z4 was transported to Nagpur in a 30' container, which arrived on the 19th Nov.
I had chosen Agarwal packers and movers for the logistics and the process turned out to be a good long 2 weeks. Nevertheless they got the beast here much before the expected date(third day).
Well, the real hassle was at nagpur: their so called "unloading bay" was a meager compacted earth with boulders and other debris on the road side designed to look like a ramp. The container and the "ramp" had a gap of feet and a half, which neither I or the beast could agree with. After a good half hour heated argument with the trucker and the local manager, none could figure out a way to unload it. to top it all none of the showrooms had a ramp facility either.
And with no local contacts, i had to finally call in a team bhpian from nagpur 'Driveanddrive' for help. He was trying hard to find service stations in town with ramp and resorted to none.
Luckily we found a specialised delivery truck passing by, which apparently was on its way back from Calcutta after a R8 V10 delivery. Driveanddrive and this tow guys came in as guardian angels to the rescue. After a lot of crude major/minor alignments, the lucifer was backed into the tow truck and finally was all set for another long journey to Bhilai. We left nagpur by half past five. Beast had chewed up 250 odd kms of tarmac and reached Bhilai by twenty hundred hours.
thats all for now, reviews along with videos will follow soon. For now i'll leave you guys with some pics of this Lucifer.

Yes I had noticed this but forgot to mention. But still no one has spotted any other R8. I guess if you have a R8 in the city you can feel it..Who knows what the mystery of the R8 is!!

Guys, I think I might somehow get to know who got hold of the 500. Cos in Sept-Oct when I bought my Punto from Lexus, they had the 500 sitting quitely which I sat in quite a no. of times. I enquired at least 5 to 6 times that the 500 has got any booking quiries or not, but all the time I kept getting long faces and disappointed FIAT sales staff kept saying "Sir, this car needs Passion in the buyers". He kept saying "Sir, Punto and 500 are of similar breed, people who love them will buy them, it needs passion more than money." I believed him, and I still belive him. I am too happy today to see that this 500 has ultimately been sold, I sat in it atleast 5 times. I loved it. I saw atleast 3 customers who enquired about the 500 very very eagerly and looked good enough to buy it, but simply showed loads and loads of attitude and rejected it, just to go on to buy some other car, that offers them more value for money. I remember one guy coming up to showroom and enquiring about the 500, he looked rich, spoke good english, but was of cheap mindset. The sales guy was attending to me & my brother, so, this rich guy got pissed off and started abusing the sales guy saying "dont you recognise your potential customers? I have come to buy a car of thrice the value of the car you are selling. I wont buy this car, because you are not concerned to sell it to me. This car wont be sold, you write this down." I got so upset seeing the sales guy's face that day. Now that it has been sold, I will call up my sales rep and ask him about the buyer. Will keep it posted here friends. I am happy today for FIAT and for the sales guy at Lexus.
