Did Porsche take over VW already? I heard the news a couple weeks back. Interestingly, the Cayenne and the Touareg do look like cousins. Maybe Porsche will come up with a 1 ton crossover offroader SUV promptly badged as the "Tounne" pronounced as "t-o-n"

Isn't your office much before the showroom? Were you bunking?

yes it is. just a little ahead of kemps corner.

I love the brown colour on the Turbo. The beige is a bad idea though, on the upper dash area. Reflections will cause a problem.

And the fact that it was LHD only means you could not have sold any in India?

I may safely assume you over looked this post on the prev page of this thread :

"Not a great time to buy Porsche's IMO. Why? Well the engine line up is in the process of being updated to the A92 family with DFI. The tranny is under going change and so is the exterior (albeit minor changes) ...

Doctorque, I am interested in getting my self the GT2 next year (updated version) and I wanted your help. Would you suggest one for daily driving or would you suggest the Turbo over the GT2 for daily driving? My main concern being ground clearance . Please advise on pro's and cons. "

Could you help me with that?

Well not a very difficult call at that.
The GT2 - Only 1 that i know of is in chennai and it only comes as a manual. and Believe manual sports cars in India are not everyones cup of tea.
I havent got any feedback from the person who actually bought it as its still not that old.

The Turbo - For sure with the PDK is going to be even more fun as compared to the current tiptronic. I will also recommend this more because its been bought by a lot of people and the we have sold cars in double figures already. At the same time it also scores as far as practicality is concerned and is not as harsh ot hard as the GT2.

GT2 is great if you are going to be driving mostly at the track in chennai, Turbo is if you want to be at both places, track & Road.

If you dont mind the current turbo, there is one immediately available.

It's time to make a pilgrimage again.

So what do the sales figures look like, over the past one year? The largest seller, I assume, is the Cayenne?

Where is the service setup located in Mumbai?
