M6 is back in Chandigarh.

I spotted it few hours ago parked opposite ETHOS (near KFC) sector - 9, same place where it was spotted earlier.

PS. Excuse the poor quality, pictures taken from cellphone.

(I used some slang earlier to my previous post might not be approved so I am using proper English Now)
My Car does look a little dirty but I do believe its more picture quality than the actual car.... Yes Boys that is my car, I could not believe my eyes either when I saw it on this site which I was told about by a family member. So If you boys want to have a better look in the future than just ask me, I am a devoted petrol head myself and love to talk cars.

We do have some members from the fairer sex too.

From your profile "My Car: Bmw M6, 760, 750,750,x5 4.8, x5 4.4 I think thas enough". The company should make you their brand ambassador.

All members and guests would surely expect a detailed ownership report of all the horse chariots in your stable. The report could have:
- daily ride among these
- reliabilty service issues, positives
- buying experience, dealer review, feedback
- features, lack of features
- did you ever consider anything other than the Bimmers
- any after-markets modifications
- loads of photos
- and everything else

Welcome to TeamBhp mate.
M6 is a handsome car and it manages to look so in these pics (so, cellphone cam/dirty exteriors can be pardoned).

How much have you driven this car and to what parts of the country have you driven to? I am sure you must be having exciting stories to offer so why not start a thread about your journeys in the M6? Also, what other cars you own/drive?

Regards.

Thanx for the warm welcome fellow petrol heads....well....I am not allowed to start my own thread yet so I shall just continue this one as it was started by my car anyway lol...
First Step... ( To keep you guys intrigued )
Purchase of the M6 (Other cars will follow later)

I dont easily spend money on something which will only depreciate without thinking about it and when it came to the 110% duty imposed in India I wanted to take my sweet time. I started following the car in 2001 when the concept came out and was completely awe struck by it. I owned a 2001 clk 430 cabriolet at the time and lived in Canada. I came to India in 2003 but didnt buy the 6 since I had made the mistake with my previous car of not getting the most powerful engine and regretted it later. I wanted to wait for the M6 to come out and when it did I was a little disappointed since it had the exact same power-train as the M5. None the less I thought about it the final decision was... Practical ppl buy m5's..passionate ppl buy m6's (atleast that was the excuse I used lol)..When I wanted to order the car the importer in delhi already had two on the way. The one I have and the second one which is in Delhi (black on black) and since I wanted to buy an everyday car which I could keep clean easily ....I picked this one. I took delivery of it in Jan 2007 and have driven it close to 38,000 kms even though I was in Canada for 2009. This car is the same one which has been spotted in Chennai as well and NOOOO.. I didnt drive it all the way down..... I very very nearly did drive it down but unfortunately this car is the European spec, which means that it will not take less than 95 octane fuel. I drove the car in chennai where I was for work from jan 2008 to Dec 2009... Now my work has brought me back to good old Chandigarh and I have brought my baby back.....
Specs- 507 bhp @ 8000 rpm... 380lbs/ft of torque @ 7200 rpm with 80% of that torque available at lower rpms.....5 litre v10...smg 7 gear transmission..and the same stopping power and distance as a Porsche 911 turbo of the same year.
My deciding factors when I was going to order the car were... My size....Everyday drivability... durability...Comfort...looks...and most of all... Most Bang for my buck.. at which point I did my own research on youtube..and found out that Porsche and Lamborghini had to go back to the drawing board cuz their comparable models were getting *** kicked by the much cheaper and more practical M6.... the porsche took away the 996 ( ) and brought in the 997 with increased power and different tranny for faster acceleration ( ).. The Gallardo as everyone knows had 520 bhp at the time and this was the result ( ) and this model was taken away and the new 560 bhp engine was dropped in.

These were the models I was comparing m6, Gallardo, 911 turbo, cl55 amg, sl55 amg, clk 55 amg....
The M6 won my heart cuz of looks, performance, comfort.

The benz failed to meet my requirements because of various quality issues due to the fact that in 1994 in J.D. Power and associates customer satisfaction survey mercedes was number one... in 2004 they were 9th from the bottom due to the development of various new models which took up their budgets and they cut back on what they called OVER ENGINEERING (which made mercedes what it was ) to save money for the new models without going into massive losses and making the all important stock holders very angry. In 2004 they announced that they were going back to their CORE plan...and the new E and CL are the only cars that to me come close to meet the Legend of Mercedes Benz.

I believe that is enough summary of the decision making process that i went through for 6 years

Note from the Team-BHP Support Team : Please take the time to use proper punctuation as per Team-BHP rules. Avoid...typing...like...this. Thanks.
