Yes indeed it was snapped in Kodaikanal. It had after market rims, probably 18 inchers, as speedy pointed out. But it zoomed past and I couldn't take a proper snap.

The company gives 17" wheels on the 530d and the 535i, so these being bigger cannot be a test car. Like you pointed out an owner would put the talisman (presuming that is what the black thing hanging from the bumper is called) and not the company. They have also started delivery and quite a few cars are on the road already.

Spotted a beautiful gray Carrera S cabriolet on 100 ft road near Koyambedu around 12:30 pm today. This was my first Porsche sighting on Chennai streets and it looked stunning. It had a 07-AK plates as far as I can remember. It slowed down and parked outside one of those godown type tiles shop. Did not get any pics.

No I didn't saw any Cayenne's. But yes the Bangle 5 series was PY registered.

My previous post was a reply to what you had written Sivasankar. I know it is not a test car and the reason for my believe has been written previously. So it has to be the owner who has gone and upgraded the wheels and tyres to a bigger size.

Simbu has a BMW X6 for the past 6 months or so. I have not seen the car personally but it was posted in the Chennai thread sometime ago. Also I read about Simbu and his X6 in a regional magazine a couple of months back.
