I fail to understand the hype behind BBS wheels. I don't fancy their designs, what else do they score at compared to ones eks already has on the black M3?

They are one of the most renowned brands in the tuning world, they are extremely light weight, they improve the dynamics and handling of the car and plus they have got one of the most amazing designs with great finish.

BBS is also the OE supplier to Audi, Jaguar, Ferrari, Saab and the likes.

To each his own I guess.

If I could, I would buy a set of BBS RS/LMs and just hang them on my wall and just stare at them all day! I wouldn't get bored!

(Can't slap them on my Civic because we do a lot of travelling across Karnataka and that would destroy them)

Will get the car by evening today and will post pictures.
Now as to why I did so? Well the feeling of rowing through gears and driving that high revving V8 in manual config was too good to resist + I can now comfortably bolt on the supercharger and get 630+ Hp from this motor and strengthen the transmission.

Just got back from the workshop 30 mins ago. The difference in character b/w the dct and M/T is right there. It just feels so much more alive and real now. I have to drive it for a week or so just to get in sync with this new experience. Even though the car is the same, but it just feels different.
Welcome to the right side of the fence! ;-)

Thanks buddy! The E92 M feels just 'right' with the 6sp and this I could have found it only after driving both. Glad I came back in to the light. =)

Contrast would be nicer element to project instead of going all evil. There were days when I liked it the evil way too though. But how would I know without having a black M3 myself. Wait a few years please. (:

I feel like this M3 might not go all black, maybe.

@Gurpratap- It is always personal choice brother. Every one have their tastes and opinions, So does Karan. Its his car, his dough and his taste(even his thread).

IMHO, I just love the all black look. If he retain the Red lip on the new set of CH-R's, "Purrfect !!" (if it gets yellow lips as matching the brembos too will look good).

My plan for the M is :

1 - BBS -CH-R with red ring and the "bbs motoring" in the middle of the rims will be in red
2 - Red calipers of the Brembo's (as they originally are)
3 - Red supercharger plenum (under the hood)

Ecks, dont you think its time to expell the 'Samurais' from the thread title ? Or, is there still a 'ray of hope' left ?

Ecks, how about the LF-A? Only about 500 are earmarked for production, at least we can see one in India.

The LF-A is ridiculously priced. Anything Ecks buys will be exclusive in India. I dont think it's worth the huge amount Lexus is asking for the LF-A. The LF-A is priced at close to $400,000. It's pointless. It will be almost 5 crores when it lands in India.

It's much better to buy a proper hypercar from Italy for that money!
