Its the VW Touareg <Yes thats the correct spelling!!>. One of the variants come with V6 Hybrid with 330 HP in the US.

That is a Volkswagen Touareg V6 TDi, it costs about 65 lacs on road in bangalore. Type in "volkswagen india" in google and you should be able to get all the specs from their site. And you would probably see the car not very often in bangalore, according to the dealer I think there are a total of 15 Touaregs in the city.

No , the pic was taken at the bunk on St.Mark's road.

Thats a consulate vehicle. The consulate vehicles bear similar regn nos.
