Wow. 20,000 kms on a hypersports/superbike is a LOT! I dont recollect any other superbike that has clocked so many miles, let alone so quickly. And riding everyday to work on this bike is no joke, its pure passion.

Good going Ram. Wishing you and despoine many more happy years together.

Yes 20k kms on a superbike is really huge
And then is the pleasure derived of getting an opportunity to ride it daily

You are welcome to see Despoine in person anyday
My first Solo Zip of 500 kms last sunday and Despoine clocked 21000 kms
Went to Navsari, Gujrat, on impulse instead of the usual manas rides
The round trip was almost 510 kms
Despoine seemed like Gliding on the Super Kewl Roads of the Mumbai - Ahemdabad Highway
Would love to do this stretch again
Hoping Despoine does the magical 22,222 kms before the monsoon starts
But too much of work these days on hand and dont get out often

Done 22,222 kms now.. and the Ride season started

Got the 22,222 kms now on the ODO
Finally the Riding season started and i joined in pretty late
Missed 4 sundays and did not want to lose out today
And guess what, a new destination
Took the Mumbai Ahemdabad Highway till Talasari
260 kms return trip
And the roads were FUN
There were hoards of trucks while going, but the return one was a breeze
Constant speeds of 120-140 and Despoine was floating after a long time
Zip Zap Zoom . And coupled with the Two Brothers Roarers, it was Fun Redefined
Sharing some pics
Look Forward to more Sunday Rides, in this Cool Weather now

Looks super cool Ram. While the plain one looked very subtle the makeover does not look garish in any way but very tasteful and adds that oomph and character to the machine.

Long time since you posted any updates. Do you still ride her to work?

Re: Dream come True. Got my new Suzuki Hayabusa

I have been keeping track of your thread about your relationship with Despoine since the very first entry. It has been a very motivating story and has been very helpful in keeping my hopes up to one day getting my own superbike.

The Rockstar makeover does wonders for Despoine and I hope to definitely see the bike in person the next time I come to Mumbai.

Thank you for the inspirational thread.

Re: Dream come True. Got my new Suzuki Hayabusa

Goodness gracious! Completely agree with Aditya: very tastefully done, Ram!

I have seen such garish looking Busas that this completely blows me away. Have followed your ownership thread on the other forum and this as well and I love the fact that your kind of usage brings words like 'hypersports' and 'practical' in the same sentence. Wish you many more pleasurable riding experiences ahead.

Wow, whats happening in Mumbai? This is the second Superbike which am seeing over the past 3 months with the same decal setup
Surely will not take credit away for being the Busa in India to get this makeover, as my friend's bike is a Yamaha R-1.

Did you peel off the original decals and then applied these ones? And also did you get the bike laquered to give it a better look?

Re: Dream come True. Got my new Suzuki Hayabusa

Have the metres been changed? The image in the first page shows KM/hr but the image on the last page shows MPH with KM/hr in the inset illuminated in a crimson colour.

Great stickering job! Not over the top at all.

I would be tempted to steal your bike! Looks gorgeous! I'm very happy to note that you have ridden the bike regularly. Many dream of it and you are living it. Cheers!

Re: Dream come True. Got my new Suzuki Hayabusa

Ram, I've seen you a lot of times in my locality riding this beautiful beast. I had seen it even before you got the Rockstar makeover done.
Today i saw you riding Despoine in the evening at around 8PM on the Western Express Highway, Malad that too in bumper to bumper traffic.
You ride it so very calmly and smoothly. Hats off to you man!
