is it true?

hi guys?
is it true that after 50,000+ kms the radiator of the forester starts giving problems...as told to me by 3 forester owners that they replacedit & all of them did it around 50,000 to 60,000 kms..& also it costs a bomb, somwhere around 25k..i wonder why does a car like forester have such a draw back..after paying 16+ lakhs..the front headlamps cost around 24k each side & therear danger light costs around 14k..woof that goes for a real punch & makes me think is it really worth owning a forester?though i am a great fan of its mechanical abilities..

Front Head lights are NOT 24k each , you can easily get it for less than 15k for a PAIR.

Had dinner with three Forester owners last night. None of them will ever sell. They are all planyters and swear by it. They go to Sundram and are happy with the service

I really doubt of Bangalore having atleast 100 Forester, I'm interested to know as in which area do you stay. 10 Forester in one lacality is a very good number keeping in mind the number of Foresters sold in India

Anyone have an estimate of the total number of Foresters sold in India?

It would be interesting to know just how rare the Subaru Forester is in India.

Thanks,

Thanks Guna. I had no idea that so few were sold in India!

Well I guess that I had better buy some spares here in the U.S.! I will just plan on bringing over a few parts every time I make a trip overseas. I plan to bring a clutch assembly and some camber bolts, oil filters, etc. this time.

1 is KA 01 XX 909 2 KA XX XX 8325 ?? 3 the other one being Deve Gowda's .. I don't remeber the registration os the other Forester. These are the frequent Foresters seen in south bangalore

I dont think he uses team-bhp regularly. But I know the answers. It is a 3 spoke steering which came for 2005 NY edition. Has done about 34k
