Many people may hesitate to join from Bangalore because of the massive distance (700+ km round trip in a single day) and fatigue which might boil over to the next day (being a working day).

To add to what Karthik has mentioned, Kurnool is again quite a hot place during summer. Not sure how comfortable it would be to meet up right at the heat of the day.

Fatigue will set in sooner than later due to heat.

Valid Point KarthikK. This meet started out as a casual discussion of a beautiful drive till Kurnool ( As you know Hyderabad to Bangalore, entire stretch is truly divine) and some of the ex-hyderabadis who are now in Bangalore decided to join

We decided on Kurnool because thats the only decent place for a pit-stop. It has a few restuarants that can cater to a 30-40 people crowd for lunch

Between Kurnool to Bangalore, everything else is barren ( except Anantpur which again is not a big place for a lunch meet)

This was also considered and reason for doing this drive as early as possible this summer. Right now its 36C in hyderabad and 38C in Kurnool. It should hit 40C by 3rd week of March

Hence, plan is to enjoy our respective side of drives. Meet early for lunch (around 11:30am latest) and disperse latest by 2:30pm. Bangalore guys can leave earlier than that, if they wish

To reduce the fatigue, car-pooling would be a great option for Bangalore BHPians

Oh man!! I was looking forward to add my name in the list from the guys joining from Point A in Hyd. This was going to be my first Team BHP meet and I was looking forward to meet all of you and know more about you. But alas!! Fate had other plans for me. My in-laws are going to visit during the same weekend and the boss has strictly forbidden me to venture out for any appointments other than those involving my in-laws. I had a wonderful first Team-BHP meet in the 'Not so Quick meet' that happened two days back here in Bangalore. It was really nice to see lot wonderful people and their rides. The only sad part was that the drive was so short. I am free on 24th and will be really happy to join you guys for this drive/meet
