Friday evening a few of the BHPians (named below) and non-BHPians (Total 10 folks) met for a haleem and dinner crawl

We started the evening with Shadaab and his haleem was excellent to say the least and could possibly be in top 3.

Moved on to Hyline and by the time we reached around 9:15pm their haleem was over and we were waiting for almost 45 mins for fresh handi to come out and finally got frustrated of waiting and moved on to Sohail in Malakpet

We enjoyed sitting in their nice AC ambience and ordered the following

1. Haleem ( Rubbish)
2. Marag &Sheermal (Excellent)
3. Patthar Ka Ghost (Excellent)
4. Tandoori Chicken (Horrible)
5. Mutton Biryani (Good)

Wrapped up the evening with some Irani Chai

Was a meaty meet on Friday. Started at 7:30 and ended at 1:00; all we did was talk and eat. I think I ate mutton for a month's worth in one eve.

Avi; you missed ajay (in his i10) and mr.hyper_hyper, rider60!

Excellent crowd and excellent food. Loved the city too.
You guys have access to excellent roads too. Envy man, envy!

Oh yeah, missed Ajay Nellikode and Yash.

JK, you havent seen half of the roads we have. If you had seen the Outer Ring Road (ORR) or its shoulder stretch, you would then know we are blessed with such lovely infrastructure

Hyd BHPians, some of us are "Riding" to Srisailam on Aug 2nd (Saturday) and some are showing interest in staying overnight and a few are not able to stay overnight

Some are joining on their bikes and some in their cars

We plan to leave at sharp 6am on Saturday morning and return by late evening. Anyone interested to join are most welcome

Why is the meeting point at Uppal X Roads if the destination is Srisailam?

Uppal X Road is located on the North East fringe of the city while Srisailam Road is down southwards of the city.

The meeting point could be NMDC at Masab Tank if taking the PVNRE else it could be Aram Ghar Junction at the end of PVNR Expressway if not using the PVNRE.

Caution : Bikes are not allowed to access ORR and there is a remote chance that security at airport entry may stop if in a group.

The last meeting point could be Devendra Vidyalaya (on the left side on Srisailam Highway). It is just after you go under the ORR. The area is called Tukkuguda Village. It is a huge school.

Apologies .. am not in sync if this is mentioned on any other thread.
In any case, some enlightenment may motivate more folks to jump in.

Meanwhile, looks like its going to be a good start to 2015, we didn't have many drive meets this calendar year.

That's a huge loss for the Hyd Tbhp community since he was the sole organizer of any kind of activity that happened in the meet threads.

All the best, Avi. I'm sure we'll see another great ownership thread like the WA, bigger and meaner machine this time.

I'll try my best to join the meet. Not in a position to confirm at this point since I'm in Kerala right now for vacation and not really fixed on the return date. I should be back in time but will delay my confirmation till the end. Hope to see you all.
