We had only four cars and a bike. We could not catch up with Jose Vijay. It was a small group driving so more like a family trip . We did a boat ride and went to Nagarjunakonda. We could visit only the meseum and then head to the canteen. It was quite hot ad humid so we did not venture into the other parts of the island. Lesson learned if its a group of around 40-50 folks one can hire the entire boat and work on idependent timings, else 1:30 PM seems to be the best bet. The only problem is 1:30 PM boat leaves you with very less time on the island.

I think I was the only one who strictly adhered to the set timings.

I reached ORR & Nagarjuna Sagar Junction at 7.00 A.M and waited for others to join. Since I was riding I thought I would start and catch up with all of you on the way. So I started from the point at 7.15.

We had breakfast at UDUPI Hotel in a village called Yacharam. After a break of 30 mins, started again towards Sagar. Reached Sagar Dam at 9.00 and waited for others to join. I called up autotranny for information on whereabouts of others and he gave me a shocking news that most of the team members have dropped out of the drive. Then he informed me that few of them have already started from Gachibowli at 8.30.

I along with my friend(a Non Bhpian on a RE classic 350) have decided to carry on and went staight to ETTHIPOTHALA Water Falls, stayed there till 1 P.M. Due to hot and humid weather, my friend fell sick and I couldn't join you all for the boat ride.

We Had lunch at Vijay Vihar and started towards Hyderabad at 3.30. Accompanied my friend upto L.B Nagar and I reached home (Alwal) by 7.00.

Overall had a great ride which tested my bike's strength. Hope to see you all in the next drive.

Just 4 out of the 20 cars confirmed? It's kind of a shame.
This is the second time in a row that something like this has happened with last minute dropouts. Not a good trend, I would say. Most of the people whose names are thrown in the confirmed list never bother to post even once about their confirmation, on the thread. I'm not sure if they are even aware of such meets happening or gets their names posted in the confirmed list without their knowledge.

I know I am ranting and everyone would have their own reasons, but I was part of the last meet which saw a huge number of last minute dropouts which totally dampens the spirits.

Good Point. Next time onwards member who is joining will post on his own and we should not post on someone behalf. That way we will have a true count of who is actually confirmed from folks who casually say it offline and their names are added here.

Lets follow it from next meet onwards

Btw, I think since summers are set in. Iam proposing a sunday brunch one of the coming sundays. All weekends in April for me are already booked

But, we can look at some sunday in May

Following places have wonderful "Sunday Brunch" with unlimited mocktails and brunch for Rs.1000/Head or little more....

1. Mekong
2. Avasa
3. Radisson
4. Zafraan Exotica

And, there are plenty of others

It would be wonderful to catch up with all BHPians under one roof at such an event.

Blu Radisson is nowhere near 1k mark, they are priced around 1.5k.

Frankly, if the budget is increased to 1.5k per head, one can be spoilt for choice of venues.

1.5K is expensive. Lets stick to 1K-1.2K/person budget and choose from any of the above places as some people might want to join with their +1

A bulk booking always gets the rates down so lets negotiate with Urban Asia for 11th May after we have a list of confirmed attendees. Location also is pretty central for most members, I think.

I guess it's just a name they have given to the kind of menu you opt for. The "Big boy" has mocktails/cocktails included based on the icon placed near the text. Otherwise both should operate in a similar fashion
