I'm still in 2 things. Aftershock and my room.
I couldn't take it any more at about 445am and quit. Just got up, have a meeting in an hour. I'm gonna look terrible.
I'm a bit scared to step out into the living room and the other free bedrooms. This
was a beautiful house gentlemen and Ladies.
So here is my report.
We banged.
At last count we were about 40-45 people, I think. Many are still here, I have no idea how many, as I have not ventured to step out, but the guest rooms were already full of people by 3am.
People started coming in by 830pm, those that came early sat by the bar and had a few with me (yes I started at 830pm!) and we exchanged a few stories and generally chit chatted, with some lounge-type music in the background. By 930 I think there were about 15-20 of us and it was getting louder.
By 10 more arrived and I think we were about 25-30 people.
By popular demand, the music was changed to deafeningly loud house music, as the thread title suggested, but, well for different reasons. Over the yelling and the shouting (conversations) people started drifting all over the apartment, in the balcony, in the seating area, but mostly around the bar.
I had the honour of playing the bartender for most of the night and I can't say it wasn't fun.
I had filled up the party fridge as you saw and ordered somee bottles of Whiskey and Vodka. I also ordered kababs from Kabab Corner. Though the quality was good, the quantity did not justify the accompanying bill. I would not recommend it at those astronomical prices.
Later, I ordered biryani from Shezaan at lavelle road. The biryanis were of good quality and reasonably priced.
Many people bought many things. Thank you, all of you, it was very sweet. We had innumerable bags of chips, crisps and stuff, to add to the 15 odd I had bought. In my estimation about 50 more bags came in. The bad news is, we still have about 20 bags of stuff. Chips anyone?
Many brought in even more alcohol. We ordered some rum on a tiny "member's" behest too and an hour later was greeted by more rum.
By about 11pm it was all over the place. I had quit as the bartender and was just chatting around. It was loud, decadent, people were drunk, having a great time, grooving to the new house music. It is then my estimation that by about half past midnight, or was it 1? The police came to our door. They were to shut us down down down! lol
With a little help from psycho and Gandhiji, that was sorted soon enough. But we had to assure them that we wouldn't shout or play loud music any more.
That was a dampener mostly and people then sort of sat down. After that we had some more guests. Daamn Bangalore IT jobs and BPO jobs run late into the night...
All in all it was a fantastically decadent night. Great fun.
We had 3 lovely ladies, I apologise for the raccous(sp?) behaviour, choice of words and the randy but humourous topics. We meant no harm
I have purposely not named people, as you will see many (I promise you, many) reports when people surface today. They will offer many layers of anecdotes, stories at the party, fun things that happened etc.
There were no bad incidents as such- but a few people did pass out, lol.
I made a little count of the consumption
2 Bottles VAT69 Whiskey
2 Bottles Teachers Highland cream whiskey
2 Bottles Royal Stag whiskey
24 Bacardi Breezers
(too) many miniatures of bacardi reserva rum
1 bottle Old Monk rum
52 pints of Kingfisher
2 Bottles Shark tooth Vodka
When I quit, there were some drinks still on. However the whiskey and vodka was exhausted, sorry gentlemen.
Thank you all for coming, I hope you all had a good time, I have many many pictures that I intend to post over the next few days.
Many helped me clear out some of the resulting aftermath, thank you, this morning I had better get out of the house, before the housekeeping staff arrive and have a HUGE fit
This definitely qualifies for the team-BHP party of the year contest.
