I dont have a problem with weekend meets, but from what I have seen, most people have plans on weekends with family or some other form of commitment. Besides, I was merely suggesting for a meet on a FRIDAY for lunch for people nearby and nothing has been fixed ! Weekends are also fine by me.

Am keeping a close watch on this thread, Kaushik

waiting to see if the day gets finalized. If the place remains the same, and i manage to attend the meet, then it would be my first TBHP meet that i would arrive at by 11 number bus!

Friday would be difficult for me though, since it is working day. Saturday there are some doc appointments around noon. So... it is either Sat evening or sometime on Sunday for me.

I doubt you can have a bike ONLY meet though!
Against the rules i think. We don't discriminate

Anyway, 21st I will be going to the airport around 9:30 or so. If you plan to go early in the morning, I will catch you guys on your way back.

But what's happening this week?

Any trip to Nandi must be as follows :

Leave B'lore by 3am
Reach Airport; have a nice coffee at the CCD
Leave for Nandi Hills by 4.30am
Enjoy sunrise and good weather
Return by 8am

If you leave at 6am, you won't catch the sunrise and it gets hot at Nandi Hills once the sun is up. Add to that, terrible traffic on the way back.

If it is the earlier one, then I think, we can sure make a quick drive to Nandis and be back by "brunch" time

Anyway, long rides on that bike give me backache.

So, back to the topic. I agree with Tula sa'ab and his plan. If you want to enjoy the sunrise, you need to wake up wayyyy before that and be there before that!! If you guys follow this plan, then i will meet up with you guys on your way back.

I agree. No point leaving by 6am for Nandi Hills when the whole beauty lies in the sunrise.
