I would say lets make it a Friday trip guys. Saturday, even I have some urgent work that has come up, which I may not be able to postpone.

@Brraj, think of some place. You always have some names.

I was also keen on Kodai, and would have been happy to spend the weekend there and return on sunday as well. But the saturday work is spoiling this

being Easter, we're travelling to my home town and taking a few days off and returning next week, so can't join you guys on the trip.

There is a lot of confusion here

What I suggest is a day trip now, and plan for a weekend (longer) trip, on this day trip. all have some or the other issues on Fri/Sat, So lets settle for Sunday.

The place is of lesser interest when its a day trip, and the journey is important, good scenic beauty. So may I suggest a short trip to yelagiri -

Start at 7AM
8AM breakfast at A2B
910-11AM - yelagiri
I suggest we take a dorm or a single room and all can use that to refresh.
Lunch at zenat taj gardens (i can vouch for the food here [400~ per head])
start driving back at 3 PM reach Bangalore by 6.

Would love to join a Friday-Saturday drive. Since there is not much time left after the drive, would prefer some nearby place.

What a co-incidence. My biker buddies are also planning for Yelagiri. Unfortunately, the timings might be different. Bikers might start as early as 5:30/6:00 am...

You suggested the last meet similarly!

Probably a weekend meet during the day time would suit fine.
