I would like to attend (this would be my first meet).

A few queries:
1. Would my A-Star AT be able to manage this drive, also I a relative newbie to driving. Hope the speeds driven are manageable.
2. As I need to start from Indiranagar, when should I start in the morning to reach the NICE road starting point, and any pointers on which route to take.

That should not be a problem mate. We wouldn't go breaking our speedo!

From Indiranagar just follow the Bannerghatta road - after gottigere, you will signage posts for NICE road and we will be there reachable on our mobiles as well. It would take approximately 30 minutes in the morning hours for you to reach NICE road from Indiranagar. To be absolutely sure, you should start around 5.15am

I will PM you my number in case you want to talk and understand the directions. Hope that helps.

And if nothing else, just PM the people who are coming from your area of town to see if you can tag along them! This is becoming one great mega meet, i am sure you would enjoy it. Hope to se you along with others.

We are committed to safe driving, more so since this is a highway and this group being a huge convoy. the A-star AT should be easily able to keep up. Also, Mysore road has a lot of traffic and you will find continuous obstacles, speedbreakers, slow moving buses/trucks and what not. Just stick to the convoy and do what the others are doing, you should be fine .

2. As I need to start from Indiranagar, when should I start in the morning to reach the NICE road starting point, and any pointers on which route to take.

If you are aware of the route to take to reach Bannerghatta NICE entry (straight from Dairy circle towards Bannerghatta), you could catch up at this point (NICE entrance) by 5.45-5.50 AM. If you leave your place at 5.30AM, it should be sufficient since there won't be much traffic at that unearthly hour. From Indiranagar, you can come along Domlur flyover -> pass by EGL -> continue on Intermediate ring road -> right turn at St. Johns hospital junction -> enter Hosur road, pass by Forum mall main entrance -> Proceed to Dairy circle -> left at Dairy circle under the flyover. Continue straight from here for ~8 km to hit NICE entry point (look for the green boards pointing to Kanakapura road / Mysore road / Tumkur road)

Alternate route (quicker): instead of taking right at St. Johns, continue straight to Madiwala, come along Silk board and join Bannerghatta road from BTM layout ORR

@ KarthikK I live in Koramangala, close to Lifestyle. If @avi550m would like I can be the sweeper.

If it is fine with avi550m, he can pick up @babhishek who is coming from HAL old airport road, meet me at Oasis Centre which is on the 100 ft ring road passing EGL, Ejipura signal and before Sony world Signal.

Looks like its gonna be a really big fun meet. I have a tight work schedule on Sunday and hate to drive the Laura to work, hence will be taking the Polo. Moreover, my Laura is no fun in a convoy especially when its going to be on the mysore road with the maniacal speed bumps.

How about a pre-meet meet up at 3M, HSR on Saturday afternoon? Karthik kindly PM me your number whenever you can.

Wow, that is indeed my house. That lovely labrador is ours, she is Ruby! We are surprised sometimes, few folks have actually told us very similar thing - the last house with the dog? Whoever passes that way knows her, she is quite famous I see. Feel free to drop in sometime to say hello!
