This was indeed a nice drive. Thanks RSUDARSANAN for organizing and making this drive happen in spite of a relatively poor response!

As RSUDARSANAN correctly mentioned, the traffic jams and the pile-ups at the toll booths did not dampen our spirits. Yes, we did get stuck in bad traffic pretty much everywhere, but nevertheless, we had great fun.

The drive back was real fun, with the three of us (I, RSUDARSANAN, and Diesel_covert) trying to chase each other and overtake all other slow moving 'hazards' :-)

Thanks Diesel_convert for your company till the end. It was fun!

I do this stretch frequently and yes the drive back is always fun especially on the thoppur ghat section and the stretch after krishnagiri. It was a working day for me and hence couldn't join you guys.

All of the above seemed to indicate an expectation of a "must meet" on 1st Nov. which kindled the 'cpr' effort; especially when it came across that it was the drive/ride that mattered not the destination.

With n_aditya (and his buddies) riding into the sunset/(hogenakkal ?), a hurriedly cobbled up drive meet was put up to meet that expectation.

A quick call to DC and Dr AD ensured a happening drive. Abirnale and Arjitin joined us, as planned, upto the breakfast point @ Shoolagiri. Thanks guys for a delectable breakfast meet.

Perhaps a case of 'too little too late', responses just didn't match the volley of questions in the thread.

That notwithstanding, for those of us who made it, it was a day well spent at the wheel and off it.

No doubt, where there's a wheel there's a way.

The drive turned out to be a 'royal cruiser'.

The misgivings of 1 Nov i.e. the expected traffic / pile up on road / toll gates couldn't dampen our spirits. Once we got past them, in our own inimitable patient stride, we took charge of our rides, 'ice' belting out our
favourite numbers and teased our way through the outbound convoy of holiday makers.

That in essence was the 'Added_flavor' of the day. Truly "Got Bhp ?"

Was there any un-official meet that happened today? I was on my way back to Bangalore and saw few cars lined up for photoshoot at Hoysala resort near Belur.
I am not sure if this indeed was T-BHP meet or some other group.

Yes, it was us on the way back to Bangalore after the overnight meet at Bhadra wildlife reserve . You should have stopped to say hello, and perhaps joined in the photoshoot too!

All you need to do is keep an eye on this thread and just jump in the next time a meet is planned! I missed a few as I am out of India for the last few months.
