Unable to make it, but would like to know where you are meeting for dinner - looking for interesting eateries within reasonable driving distance of Bangalore!

We had been to Swati for dinner on Mangalore highway. It is just before Yediyur and approximately around 80 kms from here.

Hello Bangalore BHPians,

Was wondering if we could have a Bangalore City meet on a Sunday that suits everyone. In the city, or just the outskirts early morning for breakfast and then a short drive maybe ? That way members with personal commitments who cannot make it to an overnight meet can also join for few hours and meet everyone.

I am new to Bangalore so I am not sure of any place which can accommodate a high number of vehicles.

Just a thought. Ideas welcome.

Given my track record of getting up early, I should have put my name in the tentative list

1. I will be driving from J.P. Nagar. Should I come via Indira Nagar, or Sarjapur- ORR. Which one is recommended?

2. Not familiar with KR Puram. To confirm, I have to climb/ cross the KR puram hanging bridge- towards Tirupati, and get into the service lane after I descend from the bridge?

You can drive through Banerghatta Road to reach M.G. Road/Brigade Road, then Trinity Circle and come via Old Madras Road.

JP Nagar > Silkboard > Marathalli > KR Puram > Climb the hanging brige and as soon as you get down, take the service lane. You should see the usual suspects waiting

Sat morning means you can do the distance in about 40 mins.
