Ah! RSudarsanan from Bangalore. That's the name of the charming gent. He was the first BHPian to reach the venue, I arrived next when he was just done parking his lovely new 320D.

It was nice meeting everyone yesterday. Here are a few pictures I took during the drive and the meet.

What a fantastic meet this was. Got to meet so many TBHPians in the flesh. We arrived on time at Kalamboli with around 6 cars there and were wondering where the others were. A quick call by SDP and we realised they were on the service road. Meet and greet between members took place and we soon got rolling.
Was really impressed by the interiors of the XUV 300 and being a Mahindra customer was happy with the progress they have made over the years. The drive towards Sunny was great with almost zero traffic all the way. Was behind GTO for most of the drive and agree with the 300's not so great road grip .The tail lamps in the tunnel were drool worthy though.The venue was fantastic and was almost completely packed in by us in their new section. Arriving early was a great idea and we got a good opportunity to meet and greet all the folks. A great experience, fantastic drive and meet with like minded people. Best way to spend the weekend!

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised to see the "Meet King" from South India in our neck of the woods. Was really nice to chat with him. He was in Kamshet, visiting a friend. Kamshet is like a stone's throw away from where we were.

Correct. Ameya's kept his Tiger in top shape. It's a shame that he sold his Striple before we had a chance to call dibs.

Despite of issue of Petrol mixed in Diesel tank in my Jeep Compass. I managed to reach before lunch. It was a great time spent to meet GTO and fellow mates. karan's BMW was superbly built and roar was top notch. if any one has taken a video do share, its the best music to petrol heads ears.

OMG, thats bad. What was the reason for the wrong fill up? Did you empty out the tank before refilling with diesel?

I have heard of many cases of diesel fill up in petrol tank, the latest one being diesel filled in a Linea T-jet.

Yes removed tank, emptied complete diesel and petrol then flushed diesel in cleanuped the tank. drained the tank and then refilled with some diesel idle for 10 mins to check if there is any issue, then filled up the tank. This took decent 1 1/2 hour.

Special mention to RSUDARSANAN, i am impressed by your enthusiasm and the fact that you can put half the guys your age to shame when it comes to it. Special thanks also to Lij for giving info of the Fiat guy in Mumbai, I will let you know of the experience once i do visit his garage.
