How about riding pillion on the 24-gear, disk-brake equipped machine, which needs no gas ?

Jokes apart, if only we still had the Woodlands Drive-in (WDI). A nice place for a meet, lots of parking, trees, shade, food etc.

Hmm - same here too. Low fuel in both our Cielo and Santro. My wife's Kinetic Flyte is empty I think. Have to buy fuel in a bottle and fill it before it can be used. I am surviving & able to ride to office only on my bike (Avenger 200) as I had filled it up around Christmas since I got the service done. I drove to Hosur in the Cielo with my wife the next day and got back 3 days later.

Glad I have more than half a tank of fuel in my bike at this time.

If it's just a meet, I can come on my bike. No big deal. After all, it's not just the cars we are bothered about.

However if you guys want to go on a drive, I feel it's better we wait till this fuel crisis is over.

Warm regards,
Venkat

Looks like the fuel crisis is almost over . Things should be getting back in a day or two.

Maybe we can have a bicycle meet a la madan98.3. Cycle down to Bessie beach, have breakfast at Murugan Idly, admire the disk brakes on each other's bicycles and cycle back home.

Ok, am game, but SB are you buying me THAT bicycle? LOL

Just a meet would be preferable this time. I don't see any point in us just driving tens of hundreds of kms for a meet and lunch. We should plan to just meet and spend more time in getting to know one another. Many of us Chennai BHPians still have not interacted with one another in person. So let us give importance to that this time.

Sunday would be better for me - maybe sometime after 10am.

Warm regards,
Venkat
