SB, I try hard to get you on track, you dont come, I try hard to get you off the road in your car, you wont try. I try hard to drag with you on the road, you come on a bike for our meets

And you actually "think" about a drag with my gypsy and beating it

I am not for dragging on public roads. And my travel schedule does not allow attending the track days - can't attend track day when I am 800kms away, can I ?

And for almost all the drive-meets, I have brought my car. To drink meets, I prefer the bike, for obvious reasons.

As I said before, when MMST organises a drag, I will get my car, you get the Accent and we can check it out - the better car/driver combo wins. As for the Gypsy, I guess manek's M800 would be fair competition.

oh oh, IMO, the gypsy is better than the accent on track - trust me to tell you this. The accent has only top speed better than gypsy!

Haven't you guys been too busy typing all this.
All bragging and no drag

Drag for pink slips, it'd sure be fun to watch.

@EL: not the slip you think of

Ok guys, started a new thread on the pay and practise stuff

I have also put a poll to understand how many of us are serious about getting on track at all? This would serve as a reference for any future track days or pay and practise sessions too.

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/motor-...8-08-poll.html

The rest can visualize the pink slips here..

Oh, yes, Mission_Safari, I could bring it there, and keep it safely parked outside the track .

Mine is a stock 410W, not an up-tuned King, like headers' . It wouldn't be good for racing (it struggles to touch 80 kmph)

@BT, Senthil, you should come to track and take your gypsy on track. The first time i went to track in my gypsy, I too thought the same, will park it outside kind.

Then the first lap was just to sample the track in a gypsy with its high CG etc.

Now you know I'm addicted to it. The gypsy with its stiff suspension setup literally has nil body roll and the underpowered nature of the engine makes us do the track faster and better.

At the end of the day, RWD rocks.

Now, you are getting me thinking, headers, maybe I will bring it to the tracks sometime, afer all ! How I wish the Gypsy had a center differential...then we could use 4H, and getter grip on the corners, and take the corners at a higher speed than in 2WD.

BTW, headers, Congrats on becoming a Senior BHPian
