No issues, man. Infact 11,12 has been the majority choice from beginning and as always we go with the majority.

I am in town that weekend, but made my presence tentative because wifey and son are in Chennai for 7 days during that time for Pooja hols. And she does not seem very keen to spend 2-3 days of that on travelling.
Anyway, let's see how it goes. Who knows, maybe I might be able to convince her.

Anyway, if everyone agrees that 11-12 is the date, then we can let PatchyBoy proceed with arranging accomodation. Why is it that we don't hear anything from the Bangy boys or the Mallu dudes on this thread ? The Pondy thread generated more interest. So, is it that the lack of cheap fuel (for man and his steed) in yercaud is the reason for this disinterest ?

I'm in no position to commit, hence am silent. maybe thats the case with others from KL and KA.
PS- the lack of cheap fuel for man makes the meet more lucrative to me atleast.
and when has the local unavailability of cheap ethanol deterred us enterprising TBHPians?

Doc, if you (and the other Mallu guys) have not been to Yercaud earlier && are free during that weekend && get approval from home-minister, you should do this trip.
Yercaud is one of the less-crowded and reasonably good hill-stations in TN. I just love the place. Ofcourse it helps that it is the nearest (Yelagiri would be nearer, but then it is not that fun) hillstation to Chennai and reachable in 6-7 hours. Ofcourse, if you are travelling in header's CRDi, you would be there in 3 hours max.

Very true. But when you get ethanol so damn cheap as in Pondy, the interest is definitely more for the guys that drink. But then Yercaud has the TASMAC (the TN equivalent of the mallu BEVCO) bang near the lake. So no issues in procuring the stuff.

I am a married man.
I keep one weekend in a month for such team-bhp meets and the rest 3 weekends for family so not a problem.

If you observe all my trips are once in a month
august - pondy
september - sakleshpur (planning to..)
october - yercaud

even if it exceeds family will be around so even that is not a problem .

Oops, sorry. Since I saw that at most meets you come with your gang of male friends, I sort of assumed (wrongly though) that you were a bachelor.

Well, ain't that what assumptions are mostly supposed to be about ? If one were already sure of something, why would they assume something ?

Ha. So you chickening out from the CRDi thing bcos I told that this time we will be running the Jap1.6 with a change of driver - the Jap team dismissed the driver who had set for himself a speed-limit of 120kmph.

Lets wait and see. Remember the pre-track day talk of a very infamous man and his custom car. The result was history in the making.

Please dont make me famous again
