Sudarsanan, I'm afraid you dont have much choice in Karamadai. If you are looking at AC retaurants, then it has to be either near Black Thunder or in Coimbatore.

At most you can find some ordinary restaurants in karamadai and that too veg ones.

Maybe someone else who know plances better can advice.

If you want a proper AC restaurant, then go to the Black thunder resort's restaurant.

BT is far out. So will have to compromise on the AC and even NV. A nice authentic TN restaurant in Mettuplayam/Karamadai may be even Annur ?

Oops, my bad, not Annur ! Guess, it eventually will be Mettuplayam as originally envisaged. Season being monsoon, AC should not, hopefully, be an issue.

Hi Sudarsanan, Oasis is a good choice for veg and non-veg at Mettupalayam. I got it confirmed from my brother-in-law. It seems like the food will be bit spicy.

Anandhas is a good option for veg at Periyanaickenpalayam, if you can drive another 11-12 kms from Karamadai.
