Its good to see the enthusiasm. See you all tomorrow evening! However, I'd humbly suggest that we stick to the proposed place - the Quickmeets are bakar sessions with variable turnout and very short attendance of some folks. Managing the bill in a place like DownTown remains a nightmare for the hosts (read myself/anshuman) in a quick meet.

Anyways, let the bakar flow, let people come n go easily.

The day we have a quorum for a planned meet with spouses - then yes, we will definitely head out to a nice place. Infact, then I'd advise Striker. Really nice place, good food and awesome music.

Stryker - Food is better, no doubt, and a lot more expensive. The 'other thing' is way more expensive and (by my taste-buds) not as good as Downtown.

Downtown - Rocks on VFM for the 'other things'. You get a 'Dispenser' for 990 bucks or so, and amazing quality too. But, food-wise, you are stuck with very few options.

Anyways, let's continue with Castle, as you suggest, this time around.

That is not how it works - you understood it completely wrong. There are two types of meets:
a. (delhi) MEGA MEATS: Where you fix up an all inclusive charge, collect some in advance, or schedule a mega bash around the auto expo and u will meet the numbers.
b. Quick Meets: Where junta drop in after office and before quickly heading back home. You can have a few folks dropping in for 15-20 mins, and the bulk of them hanging out for hours. You cannot manage the chipping in bill in advance today - even NEFT transfers will happen tomorrow evening!

Ditch this location discussion - convert your tentative to a confirmed! Unless you will only come if its at Downtown???

Absolutely. Castle it is - no change.

I suggested that we can look at alternatives IF/WHEN there is a Gurgaon meet with spouses, in which Castle won't work. For quick meets with mantally sick the bwoyz, Castle it is

PS: Just a data point - the typical food bill per pax in any Meet has never crossed 200 or 250 MAX!

I understand from a friend that Striker is really nice. The Manager is the same one who used to manage Howzzat from the begining. Its the same DJ as well.

Striker is a really classy place on Golf Course Road, which had no other option. Thus the CRAZY RUSH there. Imagine 7 odd people using a 2ft dia round table to hang out at

Anyways, do come - we are always on the lookout for ever newer cheap guests, like HVK yesterday!
