Are they ever going to fix that road? Anyway, I may also join depending on the date. Never joined a TBHP drive so may be this time I'll.

During mid Oct'09 we drove to Bandipur and the stretch from Gundelpet to Bandipur was like the pic, almost 10 kms covered in bad stretch with 1 of the lanes motorable. But road work was happening in full swing that covered the entire Nanjangu-Gundepet-Bandipur stretch.

Later in the month of Sep'09, I again traveled through this stretch and the distance of 10 kms had reduced to ~5 kms. The road work had progressed very well.

In the month of Dec'09 while I was driving through the other side of Bandipur(from Sultan Battery) I did notice that the work on Najnangud-Gundelpet had completed(the roads were shining black and I could hold onto 120-150 speeds quite easily) and looking at the progress I presume the Bandipur stretch would have also been completed.

That means, Mysore-Nanjangud-Gundelpet-Bandipur should be now in an excellent state. Those who have traveled recently can provide their inputs.

As for the meet, if its Nagarhole, I can give it a shot if i dont have any unplanned commitments arising then ?

The Stretch from Gundlupet to Bandipur has been relaid at most parts. Max should be a couple of kms of bad roads. So no worries there!!

Hey guys, the good news is the road between Gundulpet and Bandipur has been completely laid. Had been to Masinagudi last week.So do not worry about the road conditions.

Sorry Guys ! for being a silent spectator of late. Have been a bit busy with office as well as family. My elder daughter was not well for a week and now the turn of the younger one.

Anyways..Good Going...at least feel like taking some credit to replenish the B-TBHP josh.

Well...the cochin idea is out for some reasons. However, as I mentioned earlier in some posts...the Kodaikanal trip plan during UGADI is still on. Dates fixed - 13th Departure and 16th Arrival. Anybody game for Kodaikanal ?

Nagarhole will be a better idea for a day trip. if at all want to make it overnight, i suggest to stay at kabini. The best one would be Cicada. Bandipur (tushker trail or jungle lodge) anyday is good for night out.

Looks like its a tad too long...3 Days are a bit out of bounds.

@Asdon :
Dada, great going...I am completely game.
No plans for 27th and 28th.
Please don't alter any part of the plan now, otherwise all planning will go for a toss.
