Just read through this thread and its great to know that we are planning to get together. I am miffed (and surprised) at myself for missing this thread till now ( not any more..thanks to a pm from sheetumanu)

I am working in Noida and staying in Vasundhara ( ghaziabad) so will definitely be able to come where ever you decide..

The Cocktail Dinner includes : -

1 Soup + 3 Salads + 1 Dal + 1 Paneer + 2 Vegetables + 2 Non Veg. + 1 Rice + 1 Raita + Assorted Indian Breads + 2 Desserts.
Liquor Clause :

In case you bring your own liquor, corkage charges will be Rs. 200/- per bottle for Indian Liquor, Rs. 250/- per bottle for foreign liquor.

Note: In the above mentioned clause of bringing in your own liquor please be informed that soft drinks and beer would be bought out / purchased from the club itself.

Extra : DJ @ Rs 8,500 + Taxes or HI - Fi DJ with EMC Sound @ Rs 15000 + Taxes.

Parking Facility : The Club has ample parking facility available within the Premises. As & when the parking lot gets fully occupied the vehicles can be parked outside the Club's premises.

This location is in greater Noida - they can arrange for noida location Binge Restraunt as well but for Liquor to be served they would have to procure a licence which can be only arranged if confirmation can be given to them by tomorrow.

for meeting point : i am a member at the golf club in noida, so i can help you there, it is reasonably cheap, also there is a good place by the name of cafe style in sec 18, next to sagar ratna, both these places have ample parking , bonus at cafe style is a few antique cars and bikes. the owner drives a beetle

Thanks for the invite. I have a small suggestion. If we are planning a dinner can we explore possibility of including family in the get together? It would give an opportunity to our better halfs to socialise and make new friends and at the same time people like me would be able to join.

Friends, on weekdays I start quiet early in the morning and return back bit late. For last many weekends, I am working and not been able to give time to family.

I promised my family for an outing on this extended weekend. I am new to team bhp and would not like to miss this opportunity of meeting you all as well. Really confused? Will let you know by tomorrow.

Have been talking to fellow bhpians for a couple of days and it's been a real pleasure. Would like to share some of the suggestions given to me by fellow bhpians.

1. How about bringing along family or friends?

My Personal Take: I am very much in for the idea.

2. Instead of lunch/dinner, how about meeting for evening coffee. Since most of us would be meeting for the first time, this will give us ample time to talk and get to know one another.

My Personal Take: Sounds good to me; after all A LOT CAN HAPPEN OVER COFFEE . Moreover, this would also help those tentative attendees, who are short of time that day, to join in late or leave early.

So what say folks? Please share your opinions/thoughts about these two ideas so that we can take a stand asap.

SM, this is an awesome initiative. Whenever i see a nice looking gypsy in Noida, i wonder whose it is - now is the time to find out :P

We are three of us based out of Noida, who would love to join; however, we are helping a friend out with the women's car rally the coming weekend, and will reach Noida by 3rd evening (knowing jams at the Jaipur highway, i dont expect to reach in time).

Is it possible to meet on Sunday, the 4th? If yes, we are in. I can check if we can get a decent deal at the NOIDA golf club as well - that could be a nice place to meet as well.

Just a suggestion: Why not lunch on Sunday? A daytime affair would mean that we can admire each others rides too and talk cars. Stellar club sounds good, so that we can put in that drive on the Greater Noida expressway to and fro. Maybe all can drive back together - what say!
