Folks,

Regarding Stellar Club as a venue.

Depending on size of group, we can also simply eat at the restaurant (a la carte). Since I too am a member there, we club members can sign in the others as guests. The bill can then be split up or whatever.

It can work out much cheaper than the their rates quoted for an "official" dinner.

Of course, this would be possible only for a group size upto say 10 or 12 people.

For those who have not been to Stellar Club earlier - the food is good, and the prices most reasonable. Highly recommended.

Also, its location at the end of one of the finest roads in NCR really warms the heart of this petrolhead. Group drive after?

Pleasure speaking to you! Great initiative! and would like to confirm I'll love to meet everyone on the 3rd.
I do believe you'll need to fix up the time and location soon. Most banquette facilities are booked on long weekends!

I know I just told you that cafe 18 would be nice, but seeing some other posts I am tilting towards Stellar.

Advantage of Stellar:

-We can all park in the same spot and check out the vehicles!
-It will be a bigger more "natural" place.

Any Idea on how many people can sign in as guests? I do believe booking the place seperately might or might not work with the numbers? but a buffet snack/ tea would be nice.

Advantage of cafe 18:

-more central location, but its a relative comment, probably if we have more people coming in from noida than greater noida.

-Smaller hall hence cozy for conversation.

-Good quality snack food, Was voted highly in some times food guide awards. The owners are there to attend to you and are interesting people. (space has character, if you know what I mean. not that stellar doesnt, but it is different)

Disadvantage: Parking in the huge sector 18 parking, will probably not be able to chat around the cars.

Anyways, I do believe it should be your call, since its your initiative

Also guys.. carry a bunch on visiting cards.

Ramneek, it seems a lot of people already have plans because of the long weekend. Do you think its a good idea to push it to next weekend, and meet on the 10th instead? Maybe we will have more participation that way - Just a thought guys!

guys, i just got back from a nice stroll of about two hrs on the expressway. We were three of us in our gypsys and it was really fun and defintely a stress buster. I think this is a great initiative and we guys at noida should meet often, and take our rides for a spin late nights - it will be awesome.

I would concur with these guys and propose the shifting of date from 3rd to 10th. I dont have any problem as such on meeting on 3rd ( will just have to reschedule a meeting but thats fine) however if not many people are able to attend then it just doesnt serve the purpose of organizing a meet.

Dont get me wrong, I am all for '2 is company and 3 is crowd' :-) but that just doesnt seem right in this scenario.

@sheetumanu... Are you by any chance in B-Block of sector-71 Noida... If yes then do yo have a modded Accent IIRC and your house is in a corner plot... If yes then i am in 10 houses down the lane :P
