Not sure who that is. It has stock tires with wheel caps. Had a Pio basic model HU (2100 UB), JBL Ovals at the back (parcel tray). thats all i could remember.

Fair chance that the car might be used by a family member. lets wait and see

We can get you blessed by the D-nightdress (aka - nitrous)

EDIT : Guys who take OMR, be on the lookout for cops with speedguns.

The "legal" limit is 40Km/Hr (they got to be kidding...!)
Its got to do something with extending the city limit.

300/- is the fine, will given receipt and all. My bro got nabbed for doing 79Km/Hr on Sunday 1:00 pm, there was not even a dog on the road so got the full view and got nabbed.

Nope, not Anil's. His ride is much more enterprising to see (and hear!!)

on Speedgun: usually they (interceptor vechile) hide behind the bushes infront of the NIFT centre. I have been caught twice (on bike) there for speeding over 40 km. Need to be careful in that strech.

^^ Another spot is in front of the CTS building right after the bridge!

I have always been lucky to escape the interceptor. Some share auto/bus would slow me down right before the bridge giving me enough time to spot the white uniform!

Thanks for the warning; I do some speeds on 2 wheels that cannot be documented here in the early hours on this stretch. Now that you've told, I'll try restricting myself max to NHAI limits.

Yup that is a "known" spot.
My point is the epidemic is spreading further down OMR.

Same here bro, I do 60Km/Hr atleast (usually at my 2pm time there is not much traffic).

Night I don't think they really bother.
Sadly its not really a push for safer roads rather a push to get their target "quota" filled.

If you wanna have a blast, nothing like the Tidel stretch in the early morning hours, say 2 or 3 AM. Though I work in Alwarpet, and have a 6 KM route to reach home through Mylapore> Mandaveli > Satya Studio, I go all the way around to mount road (which again is a blast at 3 AM), Saidapet > Raj Bhavan > Madhya Kailash > Tidel Park > Thiruvanmiyur > Besant Nagar

Boy, this thread has become the same as the other meets thread - where we discuss everything except meets!! Maybe we should have a gossip / chit-chat thread!!

Why dont we have these meets at some place where we can sit and talk? Standing or leaning back on cars for hours is not exactly something I look forward to

Marina beach? We can touch Barista on the way back. Or any place else?
