In absence of running water availability, what is the best way of keeping the wheels, tires and wheel arches' wells clean?
Is there any product similar to this one available in India?
http://www.nomad-direct.co.uk/index....dless/c_1.html

Thanks n Cheers

Can anyone tell me if this spray gun is worth buying? It says it has 40 watts motor to spray. Is 40 watts enough to get a good strong spray? Its for 3K approx hence looks tempting.

Anyone?

That's the worst car wash product I have ever seen. Not at all worth the price. It's powered by 12V cigarette socket. You won't like to keep your car running while you wash it.

Invest more and get a proper car high pressure cleaner. Best one is Karcher. Check out below link.

Karcher.

My pick would be Karcher K2.120 and given its COD, no issue what so ever.:thumbs up

I understand from Partha's one of the earlier posts that Karcher washer can take water from a bucket. Is that rt? Which model, what price and how to source? Is there any caveat on using that? Thanks n Cheers

I have the Karcher 3.550. Price i think is around 16k currently. You can contact nearest Karcher dealer.

Could someone help me with

Exactly how many ml of ONR Is to be mixed with how many liters of water for a car wash and for claying solution what is the ratio.

After a wash wherein the car is not really too dirty can I store the ONR wash solution and reuse it again?

After doing some trials , I have found the following ratio to be working very good for me.

1. Quick detailer I use in 1:12 ratio
2. Clay lube 1:7 ratio.

Ofcourse you can re use the solution. You can prepare a quick detaileR ready mix in a spray bottle and use it when ever required.

The recommended dilution is 1Oz or 30ml of ONR to 2 gallons i.e. 8 litres of water. For Claying I used 30ml for
4 litres as I wanted more lub.

Yes you can. Then I would suggest you transfer a small quantity of ONR to any small plastic bottle and kept tightly
closed in the boot with an empty sprayer and a bottle/can of water. Just mix up the ONR in the proportions as above
and use with the sprayer and wipe off. Then if the car is too dirty, I'd not suggest this unless you do a good water
rinse/ shampoo first lest you get minor scratches from settled dirt.

Cheers :)

Dilution Ratio:
Clay bar lubricant : 1:64(ONR:Water)
Quick Detailer : 1:25(ONR:Water)

Yes you can, but see to that you don't store the impurities as well.

That's an overkill. Try the above ratio and you may find it better. The new ONR(Blue Colored) is much better in comparison to what it was earlier. The green ONR is even better.

This is in terms of ML correct I have the green one.

But what I observed with the 1:64 is, its as good as not putting any additive. Its as good as pure water. Even if you use just water t
he effects is the same. Its like a placebo.

For quick detailer , 1:25 is good. But its also not effective on heavy stains. Also since you don't use quick detailer daily and you store it in spray bottle, a higher concentration Will also go a long way.

And ya my onr is 2 years old batch . So maybe many improvements have happened. Or maybe my onr has lost its efficacy leading to use of higher concentration , I don't know.

Its a ratio, you can use it as ml, ounce or liters and green one is definitely better. Just see to that the liquid doesn't dry out since green one has wax in it.

1:64 is an actual recommendation by ONR manufacturer. I use Meguiars Quik Detailer as clay lube, though expensive but does a good work.

Since yours is a 2 year old one you find it bit less efficient. New blue one or even green colored are far better. You would find 1:25 more than adequate with the newer ones.

Thanks. Will buy the new ones once my stock is over.

Among the new ones , is blue better or the green one? Also what is the difference between them?
