You mean this is a different product from what they introduced some months back called ProKlear RAW? If yes, how different is it?

As mentioned, add 15ml UWW to 500ml water, spray on each panel and wipe. That's it. Also don't use a mitt. Those are used for traditional washes. Use good quality plush MF towels. 3 would suffice for the entire car for a WW.

Yes, as per what the guy said, it is an improved version of the ProKlear RAW with greater cleaning ability, slicker surface and supposedly water beading along with rust protection. Haven't tried it but considering my experience with the earlier WW it shouldn't be completely off.

I have a question to all the peolpe who get their car detailed either by themselves or from some detail shop like 3M,Motoshine etc. How does one maintain the car after the detailing is done ? I am asking this because my car is cleaned by a washer guy ever morning. Will the scrubbing and rubbing by the said washer man cause the detailing to be done away with ? I am contemplating on detailing my car and am not sure if it would last more than a week with the way those washers clean the car.

Well definitely they are stripped off by the washer guy. I was lazy earlier so i gave the guy a MF cloth and gave him strict instruction to use it only on my car with only fresh water stupid:. Simply put they wont do it. So better pick up a Waterless Wash, fill up a sprayer or auto-sprayer get some MF and get to work! i think twice a week is more than enough and for the rest of the days Jopasu works just fine. Although this wont completely eliminate the new swirls but the detailing should stay better than the flannel cloth cleaning of the washer guy.

I mix 20 ml of the UWWP in 500 ml water in a amway spray bottle.

Spray 2-3 time to cover half a hood or door. Use one plush micro fiber to wipe and lift the dirt. Use another microfiber to wipe the panel dry. Repeat the same for the full car.

You have to get it from a Amway distributor. Ask around in your family or friend circle, you will get one. Costs 50 bucks with sprayer. Else any 500 ml bottle will do. Just ensure that the sprayer sprays the water in a mist and not like a jet stream!

If you continue to have the car washed daily by the washer man, be assured that the finish wont last even a month!
I too had got exterior detailing done on my 7.5 yr old car at 3M two weeks ago. Since then, I have given strict instructions to the guy not to touch the car until further instructions. I have been using a micro fiber cloth to clean off the loose dust. I washed the car myself last Sunday using Meguiar's car shampoo and wash mitt, taking all recommended precautions like 2-bucket method, washing from top down etc.

Dude your car looks brand new. This is exactly what i am talking about.If i give the car to a 3m etc treatment i would not allow the washer to touch it and i would have to do the cleaning myself.But how long can i sustain same.Work schedules etc would see my giving the car to the washer man who thinks that he is doing laundry instead of cleaning a car.

It rained as soon as I applied Sonax BSD last night and witnessed some crazy water beading.

We work 7 days a week. Car can only be washed after 5 pm when heat is less. I am home only on a Monday so every monday at 5 pm i do a thorough wash with muc off shampoo and mitts and all. Takes me 30-40 mins.

For the rest 6 days i use Proklear RAW. I got to know about it 2 months back. Brilliant Vfm product.
Procedure i use- 5 ml concenterate in 2 Litre RO water can. Then i distribute it in 4 500 ml Muscle clean empty spray bottles. One 500 ml bottle easily gives me 3 days of cleaning. Car gets completely clean and shine is good too. Takes 15-20 mins to do full car

So, its not tough to maintain by following proper procedure.

What if your car has just been detailed and you now need to give it to the authorised service center for a Scheduled service? They will wash the car right? Any instructions to be given to them?

Any idea about sourcing this silicon blade to wipe (post car wash) in Bangalore ?

I have seen garages guys use a used wiper rubber blade along with the wiper arm to wipe a washed car.Maybe you could try that instead.Just have to be careful not scratch the car with the arm.
