My Petrol Innova First free Service cost around 1800/- (wheel rotation and balancing, oil change) when it had clocked 8600km.

Intermediate service -> wash and vaccum and general check up and top up the oils when car had clocked 13600km costed around 650 rs.

Also people please mention for how many Kkms the car require the regular service. Otherwise the data my be misleading...

I will put this up tomorrow. Need to hunt my file for all the bills. But I have never paid anything more than 700 bucks at one time for any service out of the three I did.

ahhh .... finally a thread like this .... i hope we can build on this further and eventually extract data from here and make a 'database' with info like regular service charge and cost of spare parts etc. so that we can put rest to all perceptions and myths and rely on DATA . will make life easier for all those who come to the forum looking for advice and often find themselves confused as ever with contradicting percptions , facts and myths.

in any case service charge for:
Optra 1.8 (it's under warranty) ... so NiL ... paid Rs. 2200 for a set of front brake pads

iKon 1.6 : 7th service(24000Kms) - service cost (oil change , air filter element , brake pad cleaning , fuel filter and the works) : Rs 2200(will confirm with break up)
incl. of labour which was some Rs. 700 or so
mind you , service for the ikon is at an interval of 6 months.

For 800, the service interval is 5000kms. E. & G. Oil change every 10000 kms.

My Indica costed 1200 odd bucks in 1st service... mainly oil change and filter change.

Second service was some 2800 bucks or so of which 1700 was for underbody Dinitrol treatment... rest was for oil change, filters etc. 3rd service was a mere 500 rupees and change... mainly oil and coolant top up.

Will take it for 4th service in a week or so... will post the bill after that.
