As pointed out by gigy the majority of the parts of the so called "Italian kits" are made in India.

If one can go for Tartarini/BRC it's fine, otherwise just stick on to Hovel India's Kits.

Re: Best Branded LPG Car Kits in India

Can anyone let me know price of LPG kit that i can fit in my Zen estilo.
How much advisable is it to put LPG kit in my jan 2009 Zen Estilo, it is driven 25,000 KM and gives average of 14 or 15. I was even thinking of CNG kits but in Pune there are hardly any CNG pumps.
If anyone can let me know some person in pune who can do fitting job then it will be great

Re: Best Branded LPG Car Kits in India

Does anyone know which is the best sequential LPG Kit in the market? And if its available for a 0.8 ltr Alto and at what price? I'm thinking of getting one for my Alto as I can't go in for a diesel car at the moment and also plan to keep the Alto for another 3 years atleast. I run an average of 70-80 kilometers everyday.

I've voted out the normal LPG conversion kit as I've seen its issues on many Altos. The main issue being a very sluggish car when running on LPG.

Re: Best Branded LPG Car Kits in India

Check at Rohan Auto gas website, my spark has the same kit (its a LPG model).
The performance is very good and its a sequential injection system with autoswitch over option between LPG and Petrol incase of LPG getting emptied midway. The website link Rohan Automotive Equipments Private Limited

Re: Best Branded LPG Car Kits in India

Hi,

I am planning to convert my SX4 (2009 model) to LPG. I am currently based in Goa, and planning to do a Pan India trip covering approx 10,000 kms . Would appreciate if I can be advised on following aspects:

a) which company kit I should go for
b) any contacts of dealers in Goa
c) availability of LPG across the country
d) any maintenance issues
e) installation cost
