Check New Motorhood on JM Road or Poona Motors on MG Road. Poona Motors had charged 12k for changing the headliner for a Jetta (no sunroof). My relative got it done just last week.

Re: Help! My car's headliner fabric is coming off

Can anyone here point me to a good headliner repair shop / person in Ahmedabad or near vicinity? Can drive up to Vadodara / Surat if thats what it'll take. Although the roof liner of my Octy is in good shape, I have started to see some bubbles here and there, and I can tell that the glue has started to give up due to age. Skoda will charge 85000/- for a new one. It is unbelievable, even if it was in the range of 20-25K I would have done it through them, but anything more for a failed glue issue it day light robbery.

Hi Valar, I am starting to face the same issue with my almost 7-year-old Jetta. Did you get any leads? If yes, can you disclose the cost and the person you did it from also, how is the end product?

Thanks

Looks like Chennai folks need a reliable place to get this fixed from. Any leads are appreciated as my 7 year old Jetta has this issue now. VW is charging 40000 along with a 2 day trip to the workshop.

Re: Help! My car's headliner fabric is coming off

I found a place through one of my friend's close circle, Wraplab, Kilpauk. He is quoting 12k with 3 years warranty, I haven't done it yet but planning to do it with him. Email me chichxppxns@gmail.com, I can get you in touch with the owner directly.

Re: Help! My car's headliner fabric is coming off

Hi All,
Greetings! My 9 year old Jetta started having the same problem since last two months. Now sagging a lot but saved by the rear light.
Looking for a place around Bangalore, Whitefield or Mahadevapura who can carry out this work.
If anyone knows, please do suggest.
Regards,'
Vaskar

Hi Thanks for the number of Mahi. I spoke to him. He wull charge 18K for the Jetta, come home open the roof, fix the cloth at his home/workshop and bring back and fix it. Any one used his services in this group?

Re: Help! My car's headliner fabric is coming off

Hello Members, can you please share any reliable service provider(s) in Hyderabad for VW, please? The adhesive near the cabin roof light area went dry, and headliner for my Jetta 2014 is sagging/coming down. Would like to fix it. If I recall the Khajaguda VW service center folks quoted something in the range of 50-60K( I don't fully recall during the last annual service). Thank you
