some disgruntled petrol pump employee or employee of the service station or a prankster in either of these locations. There is no other way this could happen.

Ya that could be the case but..the dirt in the tank shows how adulterated/dirty the fuel available in a city like mumbai is. I really wonder how bad the other cities are.

KSM - where is the front wheel bearing located ? I am having a doubt whether there really exists a FRONT wheel bearing ? I mean - why would the driven wheels need to have a bearing ?

Hey KSM-Vtec, Nice pics and an eye opener to the quality of fuel we are filling in.

And Just to share, even the rear wheel bearings dont come seperate for Honda city. You need to buy the entire Hub. Not sure about other cars.

Well i dont think so... i got the wheel bearing replaced and not the entire hub. Same applies to the rear wheel. The hub has to be sent to the tunner and he does the job...

Wow, this is news to me

I was given that info by Honda ***. He gave me a quote of 11k for the spare. When i checked for the same spare outside i was quoted 4500 INR.
How much did it cost you to replace just the bearing ?

Hi Kaushik, it's usually advised that during brake & suspension work, calipers are not allowed to dangle like in the pic. The calipers can be pretty heavy & could place undue stress on the piping for the brakes.
