The 15k (3rd free) service for my mHawk Scorpio is coming up soon, and I'm planning for an oil change using Mobil Delvac Mx. Just wanted to know if any forum members have used this oil in a mHawk Scorpio and what the results were.

Just bought a 5Ltr pack of Mobil Delvac MX for Rs.1300/- from Noida. If you can manage to pick it up from Noida, I can PM you the details. Ichanged the Oil at 5K service interval as I was not sure if the *** had used a diesel specific engine oil at the time of first service.

Does anybody know what grade of Diesel engine oil does Toyota uses/ recommend for use in Innova.

I can rely that shop , since it is not owned by private party, its run by lorry owners association, so that its much cheaper than other shops.

Eddy- Mobil Delvac MX is available at Kotla because I have recently bought. If you need help let me know.

Need some advice from experts out here on oil for swift diesel. my car has done 50000 kms and is due for service. since beginnning the car has been serviced at MSM and the oil changes were done at 10000kms interval. but last 2 oil changes were done at 5000kms interval.

engine flushing has been done once ard 35000kms and got the EGR cleaned recently.

After going through this thread most people are suggesting mobil delvac mx and the change interval at 5000 kms. also how often should I get engine flushing done. should i do it at every oil change.

How beneficial or effective is engine oil additive and fuel additive? Kindly suggest.

Engine Flush : is not required too often - even once in 50k should be fine. 10k is too frequent & is not required.

Reg additivies, check on the forum for:
Oil addivites: check for Bardahl
Fuel additivies: check for System-D & Elf EMDFA.

I have tried both, and use them regularly (not continuously).

I have also checked the thread on fuel and oil additives but the opinion is divided, some have got good results after adding fuel additives, that it keeps the injectors clean etc but on the other hand they say manual decarbonising is the best. and for oil additives they say its just a marketing gimmick and most of the additives are already present in the oil.

If you are confused, I suggest you try it out yourself. Oil additive - it's one time (with each oil change). Fuel additives - initially use it regularly (a few tanks continuously), after that you can do 1 in 3 tanks or so.
