Dear scorpiobhath, well I want to write a long review, but for now all I can say is that I had 0 expectations from the x1 but got pleasantly surprised as im using it .. its not all that bad, in fact its amazing for that price and serves my purpose too !!

I have an irritating problem in the audio section. When playing MP3s stored in folders, I see that when songs ina folder are played, it restarts in the same folder rather than go to the next folder. I have to manually choose the next folder for playing the set of songs there. Do anyone have a solution to this?

I believe that is how the default settings are for the auudio player, i have asked the service center the same question couple of days back and they confirmed they have asked the BMW tech team at Germany, they say something will come up, they were not quite sure whether the problem exists in other models, some of our t-bhpians can confirm the same.

Some players have setting to choose repetition, like - shuffle, No repeat, repeat same track, repeat same folder, and repeat whole disk/media. Try to check if you can access these settings.

Can users chip in with the fuel efficiency figures that you are getting. Mine has just completed 1000kms and my city average is in the range of 9.5 km/lit. Can I expect it to improve over time?

In the 500kms I have driven am averaging 10kmpl.

I am averaging at 13kmpl. This includes almost 20 days of start stop driving of short distance of 2 kms everyday as well as some spirited city driving on Delhi roads, mine has done 19800 km and just completed a year and one service. You will get better mileage after couple of thousand kms.

Hi friends!! Sorry for the late reply . I've been using the X1 corporate for almost 2.5 years now and about 48,000 Kms down.

Must say that I'm really very happy with the performance and drive.

Also, surprisingly the Goodyear RFT tyres are amazing !! Changed only the front 2 tyres after 47,000 kms.

Mileage is around 12. To be frank never really bothered, this car is basically used by me for daily use for my construction site visits and mostly driver driven .

I'm satisfied and would use it for another year. The other cars I have are C-Class 250 AvanteGarde, Dzire AT and Santro, I prefer the X1 over all for the Rough Tough body, and hassle free ride.. (With the Merc I always have a worry of the car getting spoilt or scratched especially with the Merc being a very premium car and colour Black!!
