FWIW, a month ago when I test drove the i20 Asta Petrol, I was told a 1 week waiting period for delivery of the car by the dealer in Hosur road. No idea if the same applies to the diesel variant but you can check.

Thanks for a very detailed review Sid! Though had a tough time in choosing between 2 cars (i20 or Verito), I chose i20 Magno (O) diesel. Am worried the way people have expressed concern about i20 diesel having only 3 years of extended warranty. What difference is it going to make if you had owned any other vehicle? Do you think that I have made a right decision in buying i20?

Hi Guys!
I own the 2012 Hyundai i20 VTVT Asta. Just curious as to how much is the average servicing cost for you all? I get my car serviced as per service intervals at an authorized service center. The average bill for me every six months is close to 15k!
The car is sedately driven and has only completed 30K kms.
