So the initial FE updates are out .. Car was filled with close to 9.8ltrs of fuel and has done 112kms when he dropped me home .. Which translates to an average of 11.2 with one peak traffic drive on airport road and some moderate spirited driving otherwise ..

guys thanks so much for your feedback and experiences on the new baby! im looking forward to hearing more, so that i can decide whether to go for one as well... the ikon at home has probably reached her limits, and its time for a replacement- thus far i wasnt too happy with the options (aveo, SRV, NHC, etc) but the SX4 seems to be perfect!

Can you guys share your experience of booking SX4? I mean have you got best offer? Do you negotiate for some free accessories? What are the chances of getting different offers from different dealers for the same model?

That is very little data and margin of error is very high. You cannot get a real idea till you fill up couple of tanks and avg out your consumption

At least 2 consecutive tank full from same gas pump is a min.

True , but this is just an indicative .. Because the next time memo tanked up we were running really low on fuel .. Almost the same when he left the showroom ..

The guys at RNS give you a cupon for 10 liters of fuel, the bunk is just next to RNS, but i prefer shell which is a stone throw away from RNS and i filled for Rs 500 which is 9.88l and the car's clocked till now 125kms, with the climate control on and set to 22degrees, with only city driving which gives me a FE of 12.65km/l which is pretty decent enough, considering i have not pushed the car to over 80kmph at any point of time till now....
Just waiting for the body kit,the car's HIM appeal is increased by it, as for the list of mods sitting and chalking it out.....

Note from the Support Staff: Maybe we weren't very clear the last time - We would really appreciate it if you took some time to format your posts properly and type in punctuated English. Thank you.

12.65 ? even for an approximation of 12 with ac its great memo. maruti wont print in bold things which they cannot provide or do not know is provided by a car (read that great fuel efficiency)

Before reaching any conclusion on the mileage I suggest you measure it a few more times as you probably cant judge how much petrol the car had to begin with.... So even if the car had 3 litres to start, the avg figures would come down...
