EX and VX has an overhead central unit apart from the floor unit between the front seat standard in all models inlcuding LX.

Whatcanthisbe,
Iam considering buying the safari thru CSD. Could you please tell me about the deal you got. Which dealer did you pick it from and did he offer any freebies or discouns in addition to the the price CSD charges for the vehicle. Did you also get the vehicle financed and if so by whom and the details thereof

since the car will be regd in delhi the otr is the same as delhi - 1.5 - 1.6 l
more over the freedies
mats .. that is it other than the 1.5 - 1.6 l discount and instant delhivery .. no waiting perioed / booking on a pearl white dicor

first service was done at 1200 KMS every thing was fine the city average on regular diesel is close to 15...

Isn't that really good by city standards? Are other 2.2 owners experiencing similar figures or are you just plain lucky?

an avg of 15 in the city is awesome!
I think thats a new record in T-Bhp. Do share with us what did u do to achive this and and particular do's and donts while driving.
The max that i have been able to achive is Approx 12 in the city initally and then it dropped to about 11ish

Dear Safari owners...Need a piece of advise on safari.
Is it practical to buy a LX (no body colored cladding) and get the body cladding painted similar to EX or VX? will there be any substantial price advantage this way??
