You are absolutely right. I had no issues with the engine or gear shift or even clutch (except for the clutch cable needing a change just few days back). I had plans of changing it after 5 years and after seeing a thread by GTO not to change the vehicle just after 5 years, I postponed it further and planned for a change in End 2014 or start of 2015. But it happened earlier than planned .
