braveheart, congratulations mate, good, silent, efficient spark you brought with that sparkling red colour, looked good. Its a very silent car which i drove of my friend and couldnt knew is the engine on or not and ingined the key twice with engine being on, so buckle it up and have a safe ride.

Congrats !!

Hi Braveheart,
Congrats on the Spark. I have paid in full for a new white Chevy Spark LS for my wife. She loves the cute looks. Exchanged the 2004 Santro Xing XS.
I have also gone for the optional accessories pack which the dealer was offering for 35K. They call the model with this accessories pack as Spark LS nxt.
Includes all original GM optional add on accessories like music system, seat covers dash, board upgrade, GM (Aura) Alloys etc etc.
Car to be delivered on 12th March, 2009. More on it later. Enjoy your ride !

Wifey's new (Chevy) Spark of Joy !!

Well finally the White Angel comes back fully loaded. There are 3 things still missing since the dealer did not have it in stock. Will also give the break-up of the accessories when I find time to make a new thread.
Meanwhile, here are some pictures.

Hey Mac, congrats on your buy. I drive a white Sparky too, the LT version, and I think its a really loaded buy, with tons of goodies which really find their use. Its a nice zippy city drive, and is quite decent on highway runs too. Fuel efficient, nice and flickable, easy to park and manouevre, and striking looks, if a bit on the 'cute' side
Nice buy mate.

Hey Arindam,
Thanks a lot mate !! Yeah its a nice car and very cute and cuddly too. Congrats on your car too. Yeah LT is really loaded but we did not buy it because I was gonna spend the extra bucks on original GM accessories anyways like the Sony Headunit , 4 x Sony speakers, Remote locking , seat covers , faux-wooden dashboard trim, Chevy Alloys (Aura) etc.
Think I am gonna hijack this car for about a week and hand my Verna CDRi keys to my wife ha ha ha ha.

Dear Mac;

Congrats for the new car!!
I believe the car shown before PDI and and the one you bought are different models altogether. Note the difference in color of OVRM.
Secondly I can't see the antenna out there. Is it to be fitted yet? Same about under seat tray. Its not visible in pics.
Can you pls give us complete cost of vehicle and the cost of accessories too?

@ braveheart77, mac_guy55.
Gr8 Buy! Wish you a gr8lifetime with your new babies.
Last time i had driven the spark i found it really spacious and smooth.

The only small point i didnt like was the placement of the horn. Since its located exactly in the middle of the steering wheel , one has to take his palm out to press the horn. . Did you too find the same issue? Well not a big issue after all since one would defintely learn to live with it over time. Further isnt it better not to honk too much!

Congrats on the Buy!!!

I would suggest change the door padding to match with the beige sear covers. I think that is the only thing missing are the roof rails

Cheers,
Nitin

hi mac.Congrats on the purchase.Your wife would surely love the easy handling and cute car looks of the saprk.

Also I got installed side door strips for my car from the dealer for Rs.1500.

They are black in colour and would surely enhance the look of the car and would provide safe protection to the doors.
