Wow, thats one lovely car I always wished to own. But not worth now, unless you have lots of money to spare, and enough enthusiasm

Congratulations

Congratulations Manik!

The Contessa sure invokes fantasies of a lot of people around here. Modify/Restore here well and do give us a good audition.

Have fun with your car.

Regards,
Jaspreet Singh

Laaji Mubarakaan!! My God u got a wonderful looking Minni. BTW agar yeh 'minni' hai toh 'maxxi' kaisi hogi . Anyways, I really get nostalgic seeing a conti especially in Chd. My Mamaji and cousin brother both owned one each in chd. I remember my mamaji used to take out the car from the garage and drive it around for about 2 km's in super slow speed say 10-15 km/hr and then used to give it a go when he reached the main road. He always said that
"Jahaaj avain he ud da hai". Enjoy flying your 'jahaaj'.

That Conti is in perfect Ship shape.

Drive it around, get used to it, dont mess around with the engine.

Just add Free Flow Exhaust, that'll take care for next 75000 kms.

congrats man,
you have got a gem in that conti with only 11000kms in the odo.
pls maintain it as it is, with perfect service of all mechanicals and if you need any doubts, even about any small vibrations also, PM miyer in this forum, who happens to know each nut and bolt in a contessa, and he surely knows "all"
have a good ride, ragards

Not really. Old generation engine, 0-60km/h in 7 secs, max 145km/h (150 down a slope).

Anyway, congratulations. The car looks neat and decently maintained. The body fittings are original. The door mirrors are aftermarket. Drive it around for a while. Get used to it before planing any modification. Try to get the quad headlights. They provide much better illumination.
never knew it was available in in australia

mine is the Japanese carb one

thanks bro the car is all original even has the original sales receipt
yup thats what i am thinking also will get used to the car first and about the headlight i am trying to get these al well as the new bigger bumpers

Congrats Manik...

This brings back old memories of the conti we had at home, around 2000. Lovely, stable car to drive and the back seat is the best ever.... palace on wheels...

Once again congrats and happy restoring....

@manikjeet : Excellent buy. the car looks in great condition

No offense meant to the first oweners word and your judgement but just 11K for a 11 yr+ old car.

Cant seem to digest it.
moreover in the first pic
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/attach...i-dsc00658.jpg
i see the Odo is just a 5.1 digit so could be possible that its 1,11,132 or 2,11,132 rather than 11,132.

Though i believe u must have already analyzed that.
