What's the course of corrective action taken on your beauties? How did they fix it?

OK enough of the mushy talk. I'm better now, out of the hospital , had a few quarts of blood while I was there and then they let me out early for good behavior. Besides, the nurses were not hot, so there.
I hope atleast the Doctors were hot.

Dr. Sawhney is 57 years old, gray hair , sports a mustache, and is a decent looking gentleman. He was not accompanied on his rounds by the young interns that are, as a rule, always there.

Maybe I've been watching too much TV. Sigh, life is always good for people on TV.

Karthik's bonnet bulges (!) was fixed and repainted but the bulges came back. I left mine as is, as I didn't want them to repaint (not as good as factory paint) and then it happening again.

Like I said, no RCA or permanent resolution.

Gears,
Red-One.
PS: Still waiting for your ICE chronicles .

CTSFA004 CAN-Bus steering control adaptor for FIAT

Hey Vineet,

I just found this on the net. Seems like a direct attachment for FIAT Linea - "makes it possible to update your existing factory head unit to a new model whilst still retaining use of your stalk/steering wheel audio controls."

CTSFA004 CAN-Bus steering control adaptor Steering Control Adaptor - Car Audio D

What do you say?

Hi Bhasker, I think it should work fine. A few more links you could check out.

Kenwood Electronics Europe | Steering Wheel Remote Controle

and

Autoleads PC99-X89 - Fiat Grande Punto 2005> Stalk Steering Control Adaptor

But what are you going to do about Blue&Me? Are you willing to give that up ?

If you want to improve the ICE, why don't you try a Blau PNP solution ? Check out the link below.

I checked out the availability of the Blaupunkt PnP amps from the dealers in Delhi. None of them seem to have any of the PnPs in stock. From the conversation it seemed to me that they had never heard about the PnPs ever
Even if I source it from somewhere, do you know any installer who can help me out with it? I also found this interesting thread http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/sound-...-ice-fied.html by one of our fellow BHPian where he has used Focal Solid4 amp to power the compos in his Punto. Worth giving a read. Maybe if Blau PnPs are not available, I can use something similar. But then again, please suggest a good, well informed installer.

You can go to Driven in East of Kailash. Speak to the owner (Rana) and he will source you the Blau Pnp along with the right connectors.

Bhaskar got the Blau 5 channel amp installed in his E+ Linea yesterday afternoon. No cutting of any wires, just a direct plug and play system.

The installer had all the original cables(as shown in the video link) and so was very easy to install. I had a brief demo of the system after the install and we'll probably do the tuning of the amp and set the cross overs later today. To be contd.....

@Bhaskar; dude, those Xenos compo speakers have to go !!! Also, awaiting details and pics of the installation !!
