I found a HUGE scratch on my bonnet too. It's not even funny, the disdain for other people's property these days.
I am going to get it all evened out in the half yearly polish cycle.

PS: What about the meet? Should we open the thread?????

The service guys once told me this: When you pass your nail across the scratch, if your nail gets caught in it, it cannot be fixed by rubbing/polishing.

About the meet- Go ahead frank.

@govinda

Picture no.1 and 2 - seems your car is taking fresh air from out (like deep breathing excercise) - Just joking.
You should have opened the Bonnet also to see a all open car !

Fresh Air and Driving Experience

@nairrk, could not resist giving my car a natural cleanup!

Driving in Coorg:
The car inspires confidence, corners well, climbs easily. You have to keep the revvs up in 1st and 2nd to climb these steep slopes else it stalls. Tires, stock NCT5s, did a good job of gripping the tarmac, though there is no frame of reference to assess them with. I do feel that the side skirts demand a little caution on the bad roads, lest you scrape!

The roads in Kakabe, Coorg are so narrow that I was scared of scraping the plants by the side. I did feel that our next car should be a BIG SUV!

Also every where we went, the car drew admiring glances, especially from kids

This pic tells you how much I love my car, enough to brave the cold weather and the angry wife (she even documented the act for future reference!) to give Ocean a shower at the Homestay!

That's like posing for a picture with your mouth fully open.

1st Service

@abhayshanu and @Gilead: Thank you.

Update: Just dropped off the car for 1st Service at Lathangi bangalore, with Odo on 32xx and 15days before 3 months.Hope its fine.

There were no particular complaints from my side and thus I expect them to just tighten things and look around. I had got the Oil and Oil Filter changed at 1000km so next change is at 10k.

There were a few minor scrapes from plants, and one big one on the front bumper. Getting these fixed at their Body shop, which btw is way outside Bangalore, beyond Nice road. Because I insisted on getting the delivery today, I will have to travel to the Body Shop and take it from there.
