Congrats @ rpmx1000 , sanjayc , gsachin21, , GR8NATIVE & kiku007.

Been away for the past 6 days as I had gone to Vaishno Devi. Took delivery of my Platinium ZXI on 16th and yet to cross 100kms . Can't wait to get it rolling for a extended drive. Will be driving for over 100 kms on some bad roads today so will have a good idea of how suspension feels.

On side updates related to some of my earlier posts I finally ended up getting extended warranty for Rs. 8300/- . After everyone here told me that the originally quoted 15.5k is a lot more i was onto them for an explanation related to the extra cost they are charging. Initially the executives kept trying to persuade me into believing that what i have heard is not correct but finally after my continued questioning to check out the cost they confirmed with their manager and told me that 15.5k was for the diesel variant and that they were sorry for the mistake on their part. Finally quoted Rs 8300/- for my petrol variant which i took happily.

My dealer somehow convinced me for not putting alloys on it for my kind of usage. He was of the opinion that stock tyres are very well tested and company fitted and since i mostly drive in the city it would be in my best interest to keep them as is for now. He was willing to pay Rs. 3500/- for per stock tyre + rim.

The only aspect that i did not like about the car is SVP ZXI version does not have an Aux in port so i have to live with an FM modulator. I found one with almost no interference after checking out a lot of them. Although its a cheap build somehow it sounds just fine. May be ICE upgrade is something i will look into very shortly even though i like the quality of the stock player as well but just to get the USB support and better features.

Got a call from FORD today for some quality assurance checking and this guy claims to be directly from FORD and not the dealer. Just to be on the safer side i called him down to the dealers place itself and going to get it checked laters today.

@rouheet
Prior going to the FORD for quality checking, check and write down if you find
any minor problems on the car so that you get those things attended by them during the inspection. Also you may discuss with them regarding the alloys matter.?

Thanks Dude. The same to you too. Interesting that Ford called you up. I haven't got a call from them yet.Maybe it is random and not every owner.I am yet to go to the dealer to get my power window lock problem corrected. Tomorrow have a long drive down to Madurai , Rameswaram and then Kodai and if possible Kanyakumari from there. This will be over 9 days. Will post my ownership report after that long trip.
Cheers and wish you a good fiesty experience! The Fiesta is guaranteed to never make you want a siesta

Note from Mod :

Gents,

This thread is meant for Fiesta owners to post pictures of their cars & discuss their cars. Lets please avoid counting and listing member/owner numbers after every few posts here.

p.s. we can Probably maintain one master list in the first post, please PM me or any mod to update the list periodically.

EDIT - The list has been created in Post #2 of this thread. Please note the updations would be done periodically & any post related to this listing member numbers would be deleted.

The discount on the S is minimal. The vast majority of the cars sold in Dec must be ZXi.

Is this one year or two years extended warranty? For this price, it should be two years.

Gilhead,

The stress is on the "Immediate" and "Full Payment" = One time immediate payment. No down payment+a week later loan amount payment

SVP - Special Value Pack, name given for the ZXi+Leathervinyl interiors variant.

This is shocking. It is unacceptable in a new car. Please send these photos to Ford with a strongly worded email. Ask for complete replacement of the seat assembly. You should not settle for anything less.
