got the left speaker replaced today. started cracking two days ago. Wasan Motors was very co operative.

Got the service date for 28th Jan 2010 although not yet received the service coupons. Apparently its Tata Motors that is delaying it.

Francis booked the service appointment for me this morning. Spoke to the service center in front of me. Will be sending them a fax incase the coupons do not arrive or will issue duplicate ones.

Just came back from a round trip to Pune 400 kms. The car is very smooth and easy as my driver said. At 90kmph she is cruises on the expressway, touched 110 at one stage and returned an average of 20+ kmpl including traffic in Khandala and Pune city. Thought the tires were too undersize but surprisingly my driver was very happy with the gripping on the road and handling.

I a City Like Bombay, What to do, Have to like Small cars only!!
Am told the alloys available for the Nano are Chinese and not good quality yet, so am waiting for some better alloys.
Moreover wondering how much to spend on a Nano, might as well keep her as Mr. Ratan Tata meant her to be!!

Hi, how did you reach 110? I guess the top speed was limited to 90.

Chaps
I met a guy at TASC, who's willing to sell his one month old (or a little over a month) nano. But he is not in Bangalore, he is in my city.
Spoke with him just a while back, so as to get a test-drive of the nano. Never driven one before, and he has agreed to give me a short TD of his car.

Top speed is limited to 105 - 106 kph. Scooby probably saw an indicated 110 kph due to speedo error.

Wont speedo error apply to the limiter as well?

I think the error is more what scooby saw. 106 kmph will easily look to be 110 kmph on a speedo. i.e. it looks more like scooby kind of rounded off the speed figures. As scooby said, the limiter cut him off at that speed.

Yes the driver did say that the fuel cutoff when he was at 105+, but maintained that he touched 110 at one stage on the expresswway. It has to be the long stretch going down before the toll, which is where for once I normally touch 220 in my E280cdi everytime on the expressway, else I limit my speed to 160.
