Do check on Fiat site, they are providing parking sensors. As Karthik says, it must be there available with VST.

welcome onboard the team-bhp linea ship ahoy!

I need suggestions on that.
I have made a comprehensive analysis on sunfilms and there is a xls file on that somewhere on my thread on first few pages you can download that and decide. I think it is in post no 40 on my thread
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-d...fine-last.html

i have put 3M CR-70 on front and CR-50 on sides which is the costliest and most effective around

It costed me 21k

But there are other sunfilms around cheaper.

I have tried to analyse eachfilm on IRR, UVR, Transparency and other parameters. you have a look at that

Hi Deep, you can check my thread for films here http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-d...ml#post1537418

I have gone for 3M CR70 front and RE35 all around as they fit in with the legal regulations in Kerala as well. Cost me 11.5K.

Travelled from Alleppey to Trivandrum and back.

Good points:
Last saturday, I travelled to Trivandrum in Linea. It was raining. Handling is superb. Total distance one way was 164kms. Average speed was 46km/hr. Fuel consumption was 19km/L. Overall the ride quality is excellent. I opted for MC road instead of NH 47 (Mallus will know the route). Road is good except for some patchworks and construction. It was raining heavy. Wipers did their work good. I think these are the best wipers I have come across. Suspension is also good. The road has lot of tight curves, which I could manage with ease and confidence. I was feeling pretty secure in this car.
Points to improve:
-Wipers were a bit squeaky.
-Wish it has little more ground clearance.
-Some rattling sound(minor) from the rear.

But overall, the vehicle is good. Worked like a dream. It was a pleasure riding it.

Need of reverse sensor.

Guys, Im seriously thinking about installing reverse sensor. Found a shop near edappally, Cochin to get the work done. He said he will install it without wire cutting. It can be done by looping the rear light cluster (That's what he told). Quoated Rs3750 for the job. Didn't get into details.
I said ill be calling him up tomorrow for details. Anybody from Kerala, around Cochin knows any shops doing this work?
While taking reverse the car hit a wall few days back. The car was driven by my dad. Could'nt blame him as he is new to this. Got a small patch in its rear. Il upload the pics soon. This could have been avoided if I had reverse sensor installed. So, Im going for it. For the paint job, should I go to the dealership service centre or outside people? Im thinking to opt for dealership as the car is pretty new.
My car got registered today. I had booked a fancy number which was allotted to me. The road tax was Rs50,600. The vehicle inspector was very happy with the car. In his opinion, Fiat is picking up the market using Linea. There also, as promised, admiration was guaranteed.

drdeepudev,

Now reverse parking sensors are available with Fiat/TASS as an approved accessory. The cost at Concorde Motors, Bangalore, was Rs 4300/-. I understand Autocop supplies that item to Fiat/TASS. If you get it fixed from TASS, you need not bother about your warranty becoming null and void. See Fiat India website for more details. Even I am thinking of going in for that.

Even for re-painting work, you can go to your TASS as exact shade will be available there to ensure pefect match.
