Hi all,

I will post the pics tomorrow once I take out my D70 . Interiors are not done as yet . I however had a couple of questions.

1) The dealer has said that the smartcard RC book will take about 1 month to come from RTO. I have got the Paper RC and tax paid challans . Is this normal.

All my previous cars i have had Paper RC orignally.

2) Do you guys happen to know how much is the Max size of usb stick the player can take. Hope it can take in an 8 or 16 Gb without slowing down.

3) I did an immobilizer test . Had got a mechanical only key made for the car cleaner and tested it . Confirmed that it does not start the engine. Green light appears on the dash when a fake key is used . It cost me 800 bucks to get the key made . Immobilizer key costs 2.5k .
(NOT DONE FROM HONDA DEALER ).
Pm me if anyone wants to know where to get keys made on the spot.

Hi Manish,

I am using a 8 GB USB stick as of now. It plays well.

I too feel the same. Too much for a good engine. Maybe they should start offering some schemes now. Its an oldie now.

Opted to not take a loan . I dont like EMI s too much . i decided to use an overdraft to pay off for purchase and have the same cleared within few months to 1 year . This reduces the interest outflow . As it is the interest rates these days are not as attractive as before ( 2004 times ) .
I too made use of the OD facility. My mom works with a bank. Its a good option if one can avail of. Much more flexibility than EMIs and if you win a lottery, you can pay all at once with no penalties. The conditions differ from bank to bank.

Congrats again man! Drive safe!

Congratulation ManishKapadia,
You have explained the buying decision very well and analytically.
Welcome to ANHC family.
I agree that the back seats are very comfortable for 3 people with one of the best legroom.
Only the low Ground clearance is the only downside for ANHC.
Happy Motoring.

I have seen my friend use 32GB usb stick. All sizes should work as long as it has FAT32 file system.

I suggest you keep away from the upgrades if you are not comfortable doing it, But i have decided to go ahead with 100/130 bulbs as early as possible.
Thanks Srinivas. Do let us know how it feels with 100/130 bulbs.

I am not sure if it limits a file system (FAT or NTFS). I am herewith typing the extract from the manual
1. The USB flash memory device limit is upto 700 folders or upto 65535 files. (The storage capacity is not in question here)
2. Do not use device such as card readers or hard drives as the device or your files may be damaged.

USB stick for ANHC

I was using one of my old USB stick by "Transcend" for the last 2 weeks in my new ANHC. During playback, the stick was getting heated up, especially since it is inside the closed compartment. Now it has stopped working.

Has anybody faced such an issue?

Can somebody suggest me a good make/model of USB stick for ANHC ICE which can survive continuous usage?

Anyone using IPOD with ANHC? If so, is it through AUX-IN cable or USB?

I have been using a sony 16GB without any heat problem. You can definitely try it.

Use it through USB. You will be able to access the iPOD menus like playlist, album etc. in that mode.
